I ordered the Ruben sandwich , and there was no thousan island dressing on the sandwich , but worst of all there was almost no corned beef. Being from chicago i am used to a good reuben with plenty of corned beef and dressing. If there was 2 or 3 slices of corned beef i would have been surprised. The restraurant was cold, and when i requested the inside door be closed because having and outside door and an inside doot i got some feeble excuse that people might think they were closed .. so much for the comfort of the patrons. As I said for almost $15 dollars for a bread sandwich that is very pricey. On a good note they do have good french fries, and the waitress was very pleasant , but there was only one waitress the entire restraurant ... but she did a good job. I guess the days when you got what you paid for are long over... you pay more and get less for the money. 15 dollars for a meatless sandwhich and 16 or 17 dollars for a hamburger and fries is the norm. Oh yeah, the previous visit i ordered the pot pie...tasteless. Not sure I will return unless it is a social get together .. I know what not to order. It is a small but clean and well kept environment.
A real Irish pub feel in downtown Franklin! Best Black & Tan I had in years! We all really enjoyed our half sandwich and soup. (Chilli that day) Super freindly and helpful staff. You know it's awesome, when you see local citezens patronizing the restaurant.

Great food. We went in with our family which probably wasn’t the best idea, but it was still great. I hope one day they will expand it because it’s a great place to go. It’s small so it can be loud, but if you are going to eat and drink it would be a great time. We will go back, just on a date night.

Terrific local Irish pub with authentic food, the best in Irish beers, and a great atmosphere! Christina helped me make the right call with fish & chips! Highly recommend!

We had good service here, but the food was not all that we were hoping for. We ordered the beer cheese and chips for an appetizer. The chips were too salty to eat. I ordered the reuben, which was pretty good. My wife ordered the fish and chips meal. The best part of her meal was the tarter sauce. It was very unique. Being from WI, where places live by their fish fry meals, this fish did not impress. It was more of a minced fish vs. a white flaky fish, and was so greasy that she did not eat it. Maybe we are a bit spoiled with our hometown fish fry's, but this is not a dish I would recommend here.

Great little pub with great food. Very impressed with the flavors. I love the small cozy pub feel although it would be great if they had more space. Worth the wait!

As a Franklin native, this pub has a special place in my family's heart! We have enjoyed this place so many times over the years. My kids love to ask us to take them to the pub. The food is AMAZING! Fish and chips, the wings, and burgers are all favorites for us! Of course they all pair nicely with a Guinness ?

Can’t say enough great things about McCreary’s! It is our “go to” spot in Franklin whether it’s Friday night, Saturday afternoon to share bangers and mash, Saturday night late happy hour, or Sunday for brunch after church. We have never had anything on the menu that wasn’t outstanding. It’s always hard to choose because everything is so good. The servers are always welcoming and friendly regardless of how slammed they are. The fun, unique atmosphere is unlike anything else in Franklin. And, if you have a craving but don’t feel like going out, place a to go order, it’s just as good and they’re very efficient! We love McCreary’s!
