Mellow Mushroom Franklin

We ordered through Uber Eats from the Franklin location. There was a mix up with our order and the General Manager, Kelsey, called us to let us know our Uber driver had the wrong order for us. She gave us her personal cell phone number so we could discuss how she could make it right for us. This the FIRST TIME I have ever had a restaurant reach out and try to make things right when there has been an error through Uber. The quality of the food speaks for itself and I would have ordered again or gone back to the location in person if Kelsey had not reached out. But the fact that she went to the efforts she did deserves public recognition. If a GM will go to these lengths with an Uber order, imagine the kind of service you will receive when you go to the Franklin location in person. I give this location and Kelsey a full five stars!!

9/12/2025 seat in the back with the rest of the YMCA. I was not paying any attention to the time and had to be in a meeting at 3pm 1 hr away and it was 1:48. LOL! i got up got with the server and told him i had to go just cancel my order. The server said if you can wait 7 minutes I can have it i a box for you. Yeah buddy i got to eat on the way and made the meeting! let's go! great food, great service, and great people.

We had such a wonderful experience at Mellow Mushroom thanks to our server, Jess! She was absolutely adorable—so sweet, funny, and genuinely kind. She was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. Her warm personality and sense of humor made the whole meal feel special and relaxed. Honestly, Jess turned a simple dinner into an experience we’ll remember. If you get the chance, ask for Jess—you won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I stopped by after a evening meeting on a Thursday night and we were able to get right in and order. The pizza was great. The dough was crisp and light and fluffy. The sauce was good and the toppings were great. Will definitely go back. The atmosphere was a little dark but fun with the paintings and theme.

I thought this place had a Chuck-E-Cheese vibe - big, busy, chaotic. All the staff seemed friendly, but the wait times were long, about half an hour to be served after being seated. The pizza reminded me of Delissio frozen pizzas I used to sometimes eat years ago. Not exactly bad, but as far as pizzas from restaurants go, this is probably my least favorite out of anywhere I've been to. I also noticed the outer crust is proportionally quite large compared to pizzas from most places, so there's a large area that has no toppings. The decor and visual aspects of the atmosphere were quite nice. Prices seemed reasonable enough. However I'm not going to return.

We live in Mt Juliet and drive to Franklin just to get pizza here. We love the fresh ingredients and the yeast crust 😋

Love their pizza and it is a fun atmosphere. The only downside for me is it's a little noisy at times. If you want to have a conversation you will have a little bit of a challenge.

Must have been another bad day for them. Waited over 90min for a table. Checked in 3 times to see where we were at on the list. The last check-in he said my name had been crossed out for a no show. We were sitting at the inside bench the whole time. Not to mention we checked in twice before. The kid up front just laughed and finally sat us (table for 2). The wait staff were clearly having a bad night as they were all short with us. Pizza was ok. Unfortunatly we won’t be going back. Customer service training would go a long way.

We used to enjoy stopping in on occasion, but this place has cratered over the last year or so. Food has gone downhill and service is abysmal. We gave them a few tries recently but have given up. We won't be going back.

However, there was this female cook/chef today “July 26 @2:30pm”.
My wife and I were taking it easy, moderate noise which was totally normal, enjoying conversation, just having the best time as everyone else was, and the cook just randomly starts screaming in this high pitch voice every time an order was ready. The most obnoxious sound as we were just trying to enjoy our meal. The atmosphere was “MELLOW”, so you could imagine just a peaceful setting, eating and drinking, great conversation, everyone just enjoying themselves and out of nowhere it sounds like a pterodactyl dinosaur just walked in the room and screamed in your face. I don’t mean to sound so horrible but that’s the best description I have. I didn’t say anything! We ate and we left. This is our second time in about a year and our last visit wasn’t much better. That being said, we will still eat here, but it will be ordered “To Go”. Ain’t nobody wanna eat a good meal and listen to a woman screaming out order names. 😕
