Our server, whose name unfortunately we didn’t get, dealt with our crazy 3 families with kids like a champ and never made us feel like we were annoying (even though we were!). Food was great and service was quick with a smile.

The food is good, but not knock your socks off. However we liked it enough to go back. The service is good under the circumstances. Arguably the most poorly managed restaurant you will go to though. We have been three times, and walked out the fourth time after waiting 20 minutes to even get water. Three out of the four times they were out of multiple dishes at lunch on a Friday or Saturday. Consider this is over the course of six months. How a restaurant 'chain' (they own multiple restaurants in the area) could be so poorly staffed and ran is beyond me. Thank goodness for good real estate and limited options in old town Franklin otherwise this place would be out of business.

Food was expensive and subpar to say the least. My son got a $30 salmon plate and it was SO salty. I got the Mac and cheese and not only was it cold when it came out out it left me with a stomach ache…

I am from Kansa City, MO. I was visiting friends and I wanted to go to a local place. They took me to the Taphouse and man was this a great choice! I was going to order the Fish and Chips until they delivered the Pot roast to the table next to us. The smell of that pot roast made me change my mind and man did I ever make a great choice! I have never had such a delicious meal! 11 out of 10!

I know it's Franklin Tn. But food was priced incredibly high, we didn't like most of what we got. Roasted chicken was bland, roasted vegetables had zero seasoning, hot Apple cider served in a plastic cup, burger was good, fish okay, salad was okay. Nothing great. Drove over two hours to bring my daughter and friends to something pink and Christmasy, made reservations but that wasn't for the Dolly Parton part, It was a wasted day that cost close to two hundred dollars. The server was great. Sadly you would be better off at a chain and I hate saying that. I know it's a Taphouse so maybe just get drinks.

We went to the hard candy Christmas. It was a group of 6. Granted we stayed a few hours, but our service not fabulous, we never even got plates for our appetizers, had to ask for napkins 2 times, we ordered a few apps and 2 orders of wings.. no plates no napkins. Ordered water 3 times, finally got itn our waiter almost seemed put out. Our bill was around 500 and he got a significant tip. Once we paid, but yet still had some of a cocktail left and just got our water 2 hours later, he asked us to leave because people were waiting for the table. Well.... the place could have had a larger area for the pop up bar and could hqve even played some music, any, but dolly would have been a great idea. I hardly ever leave a review, but this was rude. We even told him he looked like a Netflix star, I know im told all the time, but he is alot older sarcastically said. We wo t be back. We tip well .. we even once had to clear the table taking stuff to the bar. He may have decided for some reason he did not like us, we even apologized and said sorry if we are alot. But no plated no napkins, no water.... asking you to leave when you still have cocktails on the table. Seriously!!! The place was decorated nice but could have been so much better. I was warned by 2 other groups of women that they were rude to them. Should have taken the hint.

This place sucks! We had a 6:30 reservation and were still not seated at 7:30. The drinks we had during our long wait were terrible. The manager was not helpful, really just made the situation worse. With so many fine options on Main St in Franklin, don't waste your time or money

I went to Americana Taphouse because I really wanted to experience the hard candy pop up bar. I loved the decor and it’s definitely worth visiting by yourself or with a friend. I say by yourself because I agree with the reviews that the actual pop up up bar area is very small. The entrance to the bar had a sign posted asking that people use the main entrance to be seated. I’m so glad that I went by myself. There was a lot of people but luckily I was able to grab a seat at the bar with no wait. If you’re with a party of more than 3 expect to wait an hour or longer. As far as the service it was nice but I do believe that they could use another bartender. I ordered the Snickerdoodle. The drink itself was ok. I definitely left feeling tipsy which was great. Now the toffee candy on top was AMAZING. Please get this drink simply for that. Overall my experience was good. It’s not a place that I need to return to.

Don’t go for the Christmas bar! Made reservations for a Tuesday night. Was strung along for an hour and was told “the bartender couldn’t handle our large party.” We drove from Nashville just to come to this place and we only had 6 people. Seemed very underwhelming anyway so don’t waste your time.

My spouse and I were excited to explore the new holiday pop-up decorations, and they were truly impressive! However, our overall experience didn't quite match up. While seated at the bar, we encountered a main bartender, a larger fellow, who seemed to be having a tough day. His demeanor was a bit off, lacking the usual friendliness we hope for. The drinks were served hurriedly and with little warmth.Regrettably, the food, priced at $28 a plate, didn't meet our expectations. The risotto was undercooked, and the fish was overly salty. We genuinely want to embrace this place, but considering the level of service and cuisine at that price point, it's challenging to envision returning anytime soon.

Had a great experience. Just came in from California to visit family. Decided to come grab lunch on Monday. It was pretty busy but service never wavered. Heather was my server and she did a fantastic job. She made us feel very welcomed and even shared some awesome facts about Franklin and had some great recommendations on food. I got the crab dip to start and fish and chips for lunch. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others when they come to visit.

Heather was my server Friday night and she was amazing. She recommended the fish and chips and hot chicken PBLT. My kids loved her sparkle makeup that matched the hard candy Christmas theme. We had a great time and she made our visit that much better. We will be back next time we are in town. Will make sure to ask for her specifically. You should give her a raise!!

Great food but waited 23 minutes for a server after asking twice and them saying the server was “busy” 23 minutes to even get water lol.
