I guess we’re spoiled by Texas barbecue, the collard greens were extremely bitter, and the pulled pork was dry. What made up for this was beyond ambience, and the amazing band that was playing while we had lunch.
Stopped in after doing a hike in the National Forest and sipping bourbon at Leiper's Fork Distillery and what a cool spot!! I opted for a double scoop of ice cream but everyone that ate enjoyed their food. Great people watching and a fun Open Mic night was about to begin.
Hate to give a local spot a bad review but took over 35 mins for a meat and 3 + a grilled cheese and the cheese wasn’t melted. Maybe 30 ppl in the restaurant. Eat somewhere else. Nashville and Franklin have a plethora of good food. This is not it.
