Great little place to stop in for a bite. Atmosphere is very relaxing, we stopped in for a breakfast meal, plenty of options on the menu. Food was fresh and cooked just right. Our server Isaac was on the ball, very friendly, came to check on us, made sure the drinks were full and we enjoyed or meal. If you are looking for a place to grab a bite, this is a good one.

Went to a fall festival in downtown Franklin and stopped here for breakfast before event. Tables are very close together and service was not great but our food was good. My husband got catfish and grits. He really enjoyed it! I got pick two Benedicts. The bayou shrimp Benedict was good but the fried green tomato on it was too sweet and mushy. The st. Charles chicken Benedict was delicious. Would definitely recommend this. The biscuits are really good! They also have favorites on the wall but they no longer carry some of them. That seems a little odd but overall it was a good experience.

Great wonderful food. I had the meat lovers omelette and grits.
Food was meh. I had Migas and husband had pancakes. It was super busy, so it may have been better on a more chill day. The Migas needed more pico or greenery or something. It was just flat. Pancakes were super super sweet and cakey if you’re into that, but we weren’t.

Our waiter, “Dustin D from Tennessee,” made our visit an exceptional TN hug! He, was witty, charming and gave us great recommendations. My chicken sandwich was the best I’d had in many Nashville hot chicken tries while visiting Nashville. Iced vanilla coffee refreshed without too much sweetness. Fried green tomato BLT was a hit as were the French toast bites. Whether breakfast or brunch this spot felt like a visit to a Southern memaw’s kitchen. Ask for Dustin if you can get him over!!

Ruby Sunshine in Franklin was our last stop before we headed home to Kansas and we were so glad we stopped! The food was great and the service was even better!!!! Dustin was upbeat, fun and a complete delight to have as our server! What a great experience and perfect way to start our day! If we are ever in Frankin again, we will be back!!!! Eat here…you won’t be disappointed!
