I really hate to leave this review, but I feel like people should know what to expect.
Scout’s used to be one of my favorite spots. For two years, it felt like family, and it was my go-to for Sunday night dinner. Unfortunately, that’s all changed.
They recently overhauled their menu, and the new options are disappointing at best. It’s nowhere near the quality or variety they used to offer. But honestly, even worse than the menu change has been the steady decline in service.
Over the past few months, the staff has consistently dropped the ball—forgetting items, bringing out cold food, or getting orders wrong altogether. It’s happened more than once, which makes it hard to believe it’s just an off night.
I don’t take writing bad reviews lightly, but it’s frustrating to see a place that used to be so great lose what made it special.

10/10 food! We ordered the Pub Rolls and Fish & Chips, and I’ve never had anything so good in my life! We loved that it’s one of the few dog-friendly restaurants in the general area! Only disadvantage was that our drinks were not refilled, and our waiter only came to our table to write down and deliver our orders.
This was an absolute blast with our dog! We had to one of our dogs at the close by vet due to being attacked by another dog, but his brother attacked that dog and got him off his brother. So this little hero got to order from his own menu from this resteraunt for being the best brother. We also got him a cute scarf! The food was great! It was not greasy, cooked perfectly, and very flavorful! Staff were attentive and kind

After a Dickens's Christmas in Franklin, we were looking for a dog friendly resturant. We found this little gem. You do have to eat on the patio with your dog. It was a little windy, but we didn't have much of a choice. It would have been nicer if the outdoor heaters were on. They have the cutest doggie menu. The food was really good. The weather just hampered our experience. Will have to go again to see what the indoor experience is like. We can imagine that during a beautiful fall, spring, or summer night, this would be a perfect place to eat.

We decided to try Scout's since we are in town with our pups. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating for us and our pups. Our meals and cocktails were very good. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in town, especially if you have dogs with you.
