Love it!
Was seated fairly quickly, but had to ask to receive silverware and napkins, wasn’t given plates with the guacamole. Chicken tenders came with a pitiful amount of fries, hamburger came with an amount only made normal by the inclusion of my “extra” fries on the plate. Very little food. Burger came with toppings I explicitly asked to have removed. 2/5 stars.
1) took 1.5 hours for my food to reach my table by the time I ordered ( the restaurant was only half max capacity )
2) the floors were dirty and slippery, the tables were dirty upon arrival, the menus we received had food and crayon on them, the silverware was unpolished
3) they do not serve Coke
4) despite serving Latin cuisine, there were no Latino severs.
5) the food is not worth the cost. Portions are very small for over 30 dollars a dish.
6) dishes are served with looks over taste in mind.
7) the server was nice and apologetic
8) the music was nice
As someone who works in the restaurant business, this restaurant is all bark and no bite. The luxury feeling does not match the quality in the details. You will find similar quality food for half the price and half the wait time at your average Mexican restaurant.
Very good, authentic food. Lovely atmosphere.
Im not sure why the negative reviews . Those street tacos were an absolute flavor bomb! Ive eaten tacos all over nashville and for some reason these just blow em all outta the water. Al carbon, brisket, and carnitas!!! Chefs kiss! Our waitress Sofia, was awesome. Super friendly, but gave us our space! My wife had the fajita salad. Also delicious! Happy hour queso was killer. Margs were great. 10/10 across the board. If you had a bad experience id suggest giving it another shot. We will definitely be going back! Bravo, Sopapilla's!!
My mom and I decided to grab lunch today and when we went inside the restaurant nobody greeted us or even acknowledged us when we walked in . All we got was a forced smile from the host who was seating other customers and then didn’t even bother to say a word us the entire time while we stood there for more then a few minutes until my mom said we should just leave because of the lack of acknowledgement from the staff (especially the hostess) is just terrible . We went to Herban Market instead because the service here is poor considering we didn’t even eat here , oh well .
Always have a problem with takeout. It's never been ready on time.
Excellent ingredients and flavors, an old favorite restaurant well worth the trip out to Franklin
Absolutely love their street tacos
I am a devout lover of Mexican food, but this place just didn’t hit the spot for me. I felt like it was an upscale attempt to be trendy, but I just wasn’t impressed. The service was great, but I felt like the food was overpriced and wasn’t anything to write home about. I will say, I quite enjoyed their salsa!
***after seeing the owner (Steve)’s response, I would like to mention that I did grow up in Arizona (Phoenix area). They do have the best Mexican food there!! And I do miss those flavors. Still looking for something comparable in Nashville area!

My sister and I just ate here and shared the surf and turf fajitas...so delicious and our waitress was really great. My new favorite restaurant.
Great restaurant - we go here all the time. Spectacular food, with the Steak Fajita Salad and Shrimp Quesadilla being two of my favorite meals. Really can’t complain about anything here, incredible mid-price point restaurant in a relatively quiet neighborhood.
Love Reese! She’s the bar manager (in the pic) and makes a killer skinny and spicy margarita . We asked to make it less sweet and it was spot on. Yummy, Yummy😎. Ordered the lunch portion chicken fajitas and extra guacamole 🥑 🤩
Delicious! Thank you for the delicious lunch and drinks!!
The food was just meh. There are sooo many better Mexican places around Franklin and Nolensville. They were real busy and the food took awhile to get out to us. That was ok, we were patient.
We had an excellent waiter that really elevated the experience
