I just want to take a moment to say how amazing Romana and her staff are at South Fork!
They provided the meal for my daughters wedding April 5 and
The FOOD WAS FABULOUS! Everything was so delicious and EVERYONE LOVED it! We literally got so many compliments on how good the food was. We had Brisket, Salmon with capers, and Chicken in a cream sauce with spinach, Roasted potatoes, fresh roasted green beans and carrots and fresh lettuce salad and home made bread. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Sometimes when providing a meal for a large group it can be challenging to keep the food the right temp and tenderness etc. This meal for 180 did not disappoint!
We had an unexpected storm come in and had to make some adjustments quickly and her staff stepped right up and responded in a very professional service centered way!
We had another daughter get married in November but South Fork was not available for that event. It was very much appreciated that the Water, Sweet Tea and Unsweet tea were included with the meal. Her staff not only cut the cake but brought it around on trays to our guests. We did not receive this service from the other caterer.
If I ever need a caterer again South Fork will be who I call. For me, the meal was important for setting the tone for the reception and wanting to take care of guests and South Fork provided exactly what I was hoping for!

We still have guests talking about how delicious our wedding food was thanks to South Fork! We went the food station route so guests could go to each station and choose what they wanted to eat. (Mac+Cheese station with toppings, DIY taco station, and southwest eggrolls) We also did 3 different pass around appetizers which were also a hit. I will think about the southwest egg rolls forever! (I even had a friend from the wedding attempt to recreate them because he loved them so much lol!) All I wanted was yummy food that people would love so much that they wouldn't shut up about it and South Fork delivered!

I think their prices are so affordable for the high quality food you get. My favorites were the roasted chicken florentine and roasted rainbow carrots and green beans. My partner’s favorites were the mason jar banana pudding, brisket, and sweet potatoes. Out of all of our vendors, South Fork is at the top for money well spent. All of our guests raved about how good the food was. One guest said, “The only thing that could have been better about your wedding is if I could have gotten a THIRD plate of food. It was SO GOOD.”Second, as someone who works in sustainable food systems, their sourcing methods are more than exceptional for the size of events they cater for. They source local, organic, and heirloom foods and partner with family farms like Delvin Farms and Hatcher Family Dairy. I actually went to the Franklin farmer’s market to go meet the farmers, and I ran into Michael there. He was so kind. He bought me donuts at Ellie’s donuts to welcome me to my first Franklin farmer’s market day, and then he introduced me to Brandon, owner of Tavalin Tails, who would be supplying the lamb for the delicious lamb pop appetizer.In addition, Romana and Michael were very accommodating. We live out of state, and they still invited us into their home for a tasting 2 weeks before our wedding. It felt meaningful that they opened up their place to us, especially since it was right before the holidays. They were flexible about changes, and they made the whole experience so easy and seamless. They were the easiest vendor for us to work with. They are quick to respond, helpful with bouncing off ideas, and overall just really pleasant to talk to!Lastly, I found out after the wedding that South Fork moved our dessert table to the entrance so that people could grab sweets as they left. We didn’t even cater South Fork for our dessert table because my partner’s family baked their famous cookies, so it meant a lot that they went out of their way to make sure people got a treat before they left. I’m in awe of their selflessness and generosity.

Despite our many menu change requests over the course of the planning process, communication was seamless and organized. The food turned out absolutely delicious, service was excellent, and our guests were raving about everything they tasted! Romana made sure that all dietary restrictions were accounted for and our guests with unique needs felt so taken care of (one of our family members is GF+vegetarian and was blown away by her personalized meal!).
