I have ate here 2x and both times they didn’t fill my order. Waited over 30 minutes. People after me came, ate and went. I had to ask on both occasions what happened. I want to like this place but worst service ever! They should have offered a refund or something. On top of that food was cold!
This is a breath of freshness to Cool Springs! Not only is the food incredible, the live music is what Music City is all about. The brisket tamales, the street tacos, and the quesadillas are my favorite!
If I could give 1/2 stars, I would give it 4 1/2 stars. The ding was the queso being just ok, and the Mexican rice was dry and crunchy. Everything else was delicious and large portion sizes (I could only eat about 3/4 of each of the three tamales). The service was both very friendly and very helpful.
Great food! How they season the beef & chicken is especially good. Their tamales & burritos are our favorites!
The food is great. The service was great. If your in the area you need to check them out.
Wanted this to be good but sorry to say don’t waste your $ if you are looking for good food. Read the other reviews. The website pics look really appetizing. What you receive looks like frozen Mexican food from Walmart. Chips were good. Salsa seemed like from a jar. Cheese sauce was similar to melted Velveeta not much flavor.Ordered the 3 street taco plate and ended up with 2 tacos with dried out meat. Maybe they ran out of tacos???The quesadilla was kind of like Taco Bell with yellow cheese. We were there at lunch time and only 1 other couple in the place. If this place sticks around it will be because of the music and drinks because the food won’t draw anybody in.
Amazing food and service great place to eat when you’re down
Great food and atmosphere! Music is fabulous! Highly recommend!
The most amazing evening ever. I celebrated my birthday at Tamale Joe's and our family had a great time. The food was amazing and the service was great. I would recommend one of our newest restaurants in our city.
This is an up and coming spot that needs more love. Good food at an excellent value. Full bar. Live music. Outdoor seating. Worth a try.

A beautiful new restaurant in Franklin with some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while. Great tamales and I'm going back to try their other food made from recipes from Joe's own Grandmother! And Tamale Joe's came in second with their Margarita at the margarita festival.
Sat outside at the picnic tables. I got the poblano tamales, black beans and red rice. It was all delicious. My friends got chicken tacos, they loved the pineapple. The salsa has a great kick so beware if you’re not into spice! Also the tequila selection is top-notch.
Great food, great selection of Tequila, great music, and great atmosphere.
This place definitely has potential to be a great place, but it was a very confusing set up the food was terrible. Masa was so dry that it just crumbled, there was NO flavor, sauces on top were flavorless too. My friend was so sick for 12 hours after eating here as well. We will not be eating here again.
great atmosphere! Concept is wonderful. Wasn't able to test the food... My fault, but will be back.
