I certainly won't be rushing back after my experience tonight. Rather, I will have a bad taste in my mouth not only to the food not being good but also to the way the situation was handled.I love ceviche, it is one of my favorite foods. The Ceviche ordered tonight was not good. The fish tasted weird and pungent there were hardly any citrus acid lime components, We let our server know that the fish tasted off, she said okay & she took it back. We had not taken more than two bites out of this dish. When we got our bill , we asked her to remove the Ceviche that had gone bad. She came back to say the owner said, "No, they will not take it off because the Ceviche was just made yesterday."We paid for the meal we didn't eat... even though we should have at least been offered to take the food home since we paid for it.The restaurant was not overly busy, I am / was a regular customer. I get that people have stress, but you can not expect people to pay for bad fish, and also sending the waitress to do your dirty work is poor management. There are too many other great micheladas in town for me to even consider wanting to return for this type of service.

Stopped in for a quick to-go bite to eat. I got 4 street tacos. It was kind of spendy, and I had to assemble my own tacos. I received just corn tortillas with flavorless meat in them. Overall, just bland flavors. Nothing really stood out at all. $15 bucks for 4 little street tacos ?. That's a hard pass nextime. I will not be back to this establishment.

This place is awesome. Everytime I come here I get something different and it's delicious! I love the salsa/condiment bar they have for tacos and things. You can serve yourself.

Food was brought to us fast. Some of the clients (local people) known to the staff where given their usual meals even quicker. The lady that served us made her rounds around the tables fetching us plenty of drink and tortillas. But the best part was their salsa bar. For the first time since leaving California i found a place with salsas that don't taste like tomatoes water and salt. That have flavor and spice.

This is a small 'hole in the wall' that we gave a try last night, and WOW! I was so impressed!DH ordered the combination fajitas, and I had the nachos el carbon. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive without interrupting our date, and the portions were on the large side. Also, the prices were on the low side for other Mexican restaurants we've gone to.There is a small 4-5 seat bar that some guys were enjoying after work, and I could see myself meeting friends there regularly if we lived closer. We will absolutely go back ?!Went back a month later. Still just as fabulous. I didn't even make it halfway through the meal it was so generous. You really should try it.

Use to be the best most authentic place to have Mexican in Franklin. Different staff, much less personable and the food is cold, chips are stale and condiments are out or not fresh. Really sad, because it’s been a family fav for years. Now it’s just gross.

Really enjoy the food and people here. Mexican culture, community, y comida is hard to find in Middle Tennessee. Nothing against the queso smothered “mexican” food that has dominated American taste buds, but as someone who grew up surrounded by real authentic Mexican culture, you miss certain things. I’ve—literally—only had the tacos. I love them all, but highly recommend pastor, carnitas, suadero, or costilla. I know you might want asada or pollo, but trust me. More than the food and—thank God—homemade tortillas, I really appreciate the community. Mexican culture exudes community. These wonderful people know me, welcome me and my friends/guests/family, and are true servants—meaning, they serve really well, with love and respect. I cannot speak more highly of this taqueria—it ranks up there with even some favorites in Baja and Southern California.

Having grown up in So-Cal I've spent a lot of time in Mexico. I look for Hispanic restaurants everywhere I go. This is by far one of my new favorites. I ordered the Lingua(tongue), Tripe, and Barbacoa tacos, with their house warm corn tortillas. Top shelf on all. Great flavors without being to salty. Quaint atmosphere but good is excellent. Prices very reasonable.
