Simple perfection! Gumbo!! SO GOOD. Cozy little spot that leans more to grab and go, but some seating to sit a bit too. Staff was super helpful, food was up quick and great.

Keep it stupid simple. The menu is a perfect amount of options to choose from. The service is next level and if you've never been here, you'll have the chance to sample the menu. Best Cajun I've had and best food experience while in Tennessee. The atmosphere is perfect to go with the food as well.

Tried this place out today for lunch. Place was nice, clean and had pretty good seating for the size of the place. We ordered the gumbo and the chili cheese etouffee with crawfish and 2 drinks for 21 bucks. The portions are good for the price and the food had good flavor and comes out quick. The etouffee had a bit more flavor than the gumbo. The bread that comes with it is hella good like order extra side of bread good. Place gets pretty busy but that is a good thing cause then you know it's good food. Will definitely be coming back here again and highly recommend it if in the area

You will not regret visiting this place! Everything is great and the price is so very reasonable. Let's keep this place in business!

Hidden gem in Franklin TN. Small storefront with decent parking.Walked into the dining area and found counter service with call window pick up showcasing a rotating menu of Cajun food.Jambalaya, gumbo, chicken macque choux.... you can order a 1/2 plate, full plate or 1/2 and 1/2.Gumbo was plentiful but mildly spiced. They provide a ton of hot sauces to add and the prices include taxes. Here's the Breakdown:Cool dudes running the place +1 star; no BS pricing +1 star; plentiful portions +1 star; tasty vittles (would like more spice from the kitchen but I get the control the heat idea) +1 star; Cajun food +1 star.A for sure go back.

Today was my second time coming in. The first time they were out of gumbo. I was pretty disappointed that a Cajun/creole place was out of the staple. Today I had business in Franklin so I decided for lunch I'd do attempt #2. They had gumbo so I was pretty excited! The price of $5 sounded great for a small potion to-go so that's what I ordered. I was very confused on why I got a normal to-go plate. There is no way a liquid based dish could survive in a to-go plate! The reason why it did survive the ride is because it was majority rice. The rice was on the harder side and the roux was barely there. The bread that came with it was pretty awesome however. I saw a lot of reviews for Drunken Chicken so I'd like to give that a try in the future.

This was great food, for a great price. The owner was very friendly. He gave us the full rundown of the menu including what was gluten free; because I have a teenager that is gluten free. Everything we had was great including the peanut butter pie.

They won't win beauty contests, but the dishes are full of flavor and a generous portion at a great value. I came back for three nights while here for a weekend visit, and I tried several different dishes. As others had mentioned, get extra bread as it pairs wonderfully with the entrees. The Maque Choux was decent, but my favorite was the Drunken Chicken, followed next by the Etouffee. I also tried the peanut butter pie which was wonderfully dense and flavorful.

In town for a conference and decided to give this place a try because the menu offered items that both my husband and I could try. Good decision. They allow you to sample. That's awesome! I sampled and ended up getting 1/2 order of the Spinach and Mushroom Etouffee as well as a 1/2 order of the Chili Cheese Etouffee with crawfish. Different and yummy! My husband ordered the 1/2 order of Red Beans and Smoked Sausage as well as 1/2 order of Maque Choux. He ate every bit of it so I take it as a sign that it was delicious and he enjoyed it. It's a one man show in here tonight so the same guy who takes your order also prepares your order. He unfortunately forgot about us BUT he made it right as soon as he realized it. And we truly appreciate that. We ordered a peanut butter pie for dessert. It was supposed be to go but we took a bite to taste it and ended up eating the whole thing so we had to order another one for later. I would like to try the Drunken Chicken next time.

Excellent Cajun food, true to Cajun style. Cook it mild but give it a plethora of sauces to spice it up if you want. You can also choose half and half plates if you can't decide (we did!) Chili cheese etouffee with crawfish and Chipotle Alexio with chicken on one plate. Drunken chicken and gumbo on the second plate. But you can't underestimate the bread and the great Cajun butter concoction that adds an amazing flavor.

Friday evening and walked right in. Not a large place but plenty of room.. you walk straight in and order off the wall as the menu rotates. Super friendly staff that will talk to you by name. Got our food before we finished filling our drinks. The servings are good size and served hot. Garlic bread is mouth watering. Both meals were delicious and had great flavor. Will definitely return. They do have some vegetarian options

5 stars all around. Manager was running register and answering questions, even offered a small sample when I asked about a dish I didn't recognize. A ton of food for a great price. I'll warn you though, the bread they give you makes you want a whole loaf...

Terrible. No here's the other 76 characters that will allow me to post my review. I think the truck the food in from the homeless shelter and use what was left over as there ingredients
