First, sat us at a booth where both the seats and tablecloth were dirty. Apologetically, they moved us to another table where the seats were full of crumbs and there were crumbs on the floor as well. Food was average at best. The lasagna was piping hot, the shrimp and penne al a vodka was not. The sauce was hot, however, the pasta was not. The wait staff never stopped back to our table once our food was served. After waiting for someone to come refill our empty waiter glasses...
This restaurant is consistent in all categories. If you like Italian with influences from across Italy—from Venice to Palermo—blending Italian flavors with Southern ingredients you will like Zolo's. We didn't get any names but the service was first rate from the hostess, server and the cooks which we could see with the open kitchen concept everything was wonderful. This is my new go to Italian restaurant!
