We had Saturday brunch at Alberto’s. I’ve been wanting to try it out since so many people rave about it. The food was good, but it took forever to arrive. The restaurant was not busy, but the waitresses seemed almost nonexistent at times. We shared the Pao de Queijo. My husband had their breakfast and I had the Ouro Bronco sandwich. My sandwich was basically a baguette with curry served all over it. It was very messy and hard to eat because of being so messy. However, the flavor was really good. The baguette was incredible. We also had some of their desserts which were good. The macaron were my favorite. We also took home a piece of chocolate cake and a piece of cheesecake. They were good but incredibly rich and sweet. Overall the entire meal was over $80 for two people. We didn’t even order the most expensive things on the menu. For the price we paid, I’m not sure it was worth it. The food also gave us both indigestion and heartburn later. Unfortunately, we will most likely not go back.

An old farmhouse converted into a beautiful restaurant. Each dish was delicious and filling. The experience was just as enjoyable as the food. Definitely worth it.
Alberto's in Gallatin, Tennessee, proved to be a pleasant surprise for a last-minute Saturday evening dinner choice. While initially expecting Brazilian cuisine, the restaurant leaned more towards other regional fare, but this did not detract from the overall experience. Despite being the only patrons in the restaurant, we were greeted warmly and promptly attended to. The food, though not what we anticipated, was exceptional in flavor and richness, exceeding our expectations. We sampled three dishes, each bursting with delicious flavors and served in generous portions. The cleanliness of the establishment was notable, contributing to a comfortable dining environment. The manager's friendly demeanor added a personal touch to the experience, further enhancing our satisfaction. The desserts were a highlight, offering a sweet conclusion to the meal. However, it's worth noting that while the food was outstanding, the prices felt slightly steep. Nevertheless, in a time where everything seems to come at a premium, Alberto's still warrants a return visit for its quality offerings and inviting atmosphere. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Alberto's to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Highly recommended. A home-turned-restaurant and the owner cooking in the back felt very personable. Eager to try the eclectic menu, we ordered four appetizers, chicken curry, risotto, and pistachio cheesecake -- all excellent and with the traits of being homemade. Abby was an attentive server who kindly answered the first-timer questions. We'll be back to try more of the menu. NOTE: reservations are a good idea on a Friday night.

Update: Consistently amazing!My review was a little dated so I wanted to revisit Google to say that Albertos is still amazing. The service, food, desserts, vibe...everything was excellent.I did make a reservation each time we planned to eat here, so I cannot speak for "walk-in" services. The restaurant is small so I do recommend calling ahead.I did mess up my online reservation so I had to call to get some help. The person I spoke with was very helpful and corrected my mistake quickly.Original review from 07/2022: Such a cozy and classy little restaurant/bakery. The service was wonderful and the food delicious. We made a reservation and our table was ready when we arrived. We had dinner, & I would like to go back for brunch sometime soon. The prices were a bit more than I initially expected, but everything tasted so fresh and seemed to be made with high quality ingredients so totally worth it. The desserts were beautiful and they had a wide variety to choose from. We happily drove over an hour and cannot wait to go back!

Unfortunately I cannot rate how the food was because we couldn’t even get anyone to serve us. Ended up leaving because it took so long. It was very disappointing because the table next to us came in at the same time and we saw their table being waited on.
We had been wanting to try Alberto's for a while. We wanted to try it out for Valentine's Day - so we made a reservation. We were greeted moments after we walked in and then seated quickly. Our waitress was attentive and made recommendations as well as answered our questions. The food was unique and we enjoyed the experience. We shared the fingerfood sampler and then I had beef stroganoff and my husband had the spaghetti carbonara.

Amazing! Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Atmosphere was comfy and really enjoyed our dinner and can't wait to go back for brunch.
