“We saw this place from a friend’s post, and we decided to give it a shot! We drove nearly an hour in anticipation of trying this house made pasta food. We had the tomato bruschetta, bucatini with bolognese, fettuccini cacio e Pepe, cheesecake and limoncelli mascarpone and we loved it all! The pasta tastes so fresh and delicious. We couldn’t decide what our favorite was. We are recommending this to our friends and family and plan on coming back soon. Great job!”

“We had lunch at The Sense of Taste today for the 4th time in the past 4 weeks and can say that Chef Russell is a Super Star. Four visits... 4 different entrees and each was better than previous meal.

The Stockyard burger was incredible, the Rueben delicious and extremely tender. The Coconut Chicken with mango chutney was off-the-chart and the Texas Brisket was straight out of South Texas. The truffle fries were crisp and tender all at the same time.

The price points for the meals were a complete bargain for any budget.

Bottom line - Sense of Taste is definitely a MUST TRY.”

“I used to be an avid Starbucks drinker. However, since this place has opened I will not go anywhere else to get coffee. I have one complaint. They need to take better care of the girls outside taking the orders. It has been way to hot and humid for them to stand out there. They either need to have mist machines for them to stand under and cool off or have a cooler with water in it. I understand they have cool packs they can wear but it seems like they can only wear them in certain degrees. When the iPad they are working on does not want to work because it's so hot outside that is a huge issue.”

I woke up one morning and was under a curse. I could only speak one word and that word was "taco."

I uttered "taco" to my wife, and she was concerned. Tacos aren't typically my go-to, but this time it was. I needed a taco to break the spell.

We decided on "Taqueria El Burrito 3" and HOLY MOLY it was better than I could've imagined. I smashed on 5 tacos and my body started to disintegrate. The food from this truck is like a nectar from the gods. My curse has been cured and I'm now a regular man with a belly full of tacos.”

“The couple who were working this food truck served much more then amazing food on Thursday 11/7/24. While in the parking lot at Tristar Centennial, I was in my Jeep, beside myself crying. After a 4 hour drive from Birmingham, Al with my son, I'd just been told he had ewings sarcoma & the outcome was anything but certain. I dried my tears and walked towards their food truck in search for a grilled cheese sandwich that my son had ask for, for days. After the gentleman took my order he paused and asked where I was from and what brought me to Nashville. Without hesitation he called for his wife who was cooking and ask if they could pray for us. They stopped everything and for the first time in months, a sense of calm washed over me as he ask the lord to watch & protect us. They will never know how much that moment & kindness meant. They were the first people to really "see" us , to show compassion & remind me of God Grace.
