Our waitress was great. Smiling and laughing the whole time. Prompt service and our breakfast came out quick. Our food was wonderful and at a low cost. Less than $10 per person gets you a full breakfast. They also have a salad bar that is amazing.
If you're looking for good food at yesterday's prices, Mables is where you need to go. They have great down-home country cooking. The building is not a million dollar structure, but don't let its looks fool you about what's inside. The staff is friendly and the service is good. Mables has been a family favorite for local dining for years. Tonight, my wife and I both had their Wednesday night special, 11 oz country fried steak, baked potato, and salad for $8.79.

This is one of favorite places to have breakfast when I visit TN. Nothing fancy but everything tasty. Like home cooking without the work. The prices are amazing.
