Love this place! All authentic ingredients and options! Had the red beans and rice, my normal order, and got the onion rings this time too. They were a little busy and the food still came out timely. 10/10 would recommend!

I caution anyone who has a handicap or disability, please be careful and consider street parking if you decide to go here. We called and verified they had parking around back and they stated they have a ramp ... they do, but it was covered in snow and ice...extremely dangerous, its not well cleaned off. Roux's Creole Cafe offers authentic ingredients and options. The red beans and rice is like being back at mom's house, and the fried catfish is perfectly seasoned and fried. The crawfish etouffee is fantastic, and the beignets melt in your mouth. The Muffuletta sandwiches are as good as in New Orleans, and the andouille sausage kicks perfectly against the fluffy beignet breakfast sandwiches. The bread pudding is good too. The patio is a great place for a beer. The staff is very nice and welcoming, making customers feel like they are about to have a great home-cooked meal. The owner puts soul and love into this place. It is a great option for eating local, with good New Orleans like vibes.
