I was in Gallatin on a work trip and stopped by Awedaddys with a colleague. We went on a Friday evening and had a great time. Live music that was fun and the band was very good, plus, the restaurant is right on the lake, which adds another element of fun. The service was excellent, our server was very personable and made sure we were well taken care of. And the food was delicious and drinks tasted great. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were full of flavor and lots of crab. Really good. For dinner my colleague had the salmon and ate it all. He said it was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and the shrimp were plump and cooked perfectly and the grits were so flavorful and creamy. I'm going to be back in Gallatin next month and will be heading to Awedaddys for dinner. If you want good food and a fun atmosphere, this is where you want to go.

After going to the other restaurants near the water in Hendersonville, this restaurant gave a better “bang” for my buck. Great food, customer service. Waitress even went out of her way to find a hotter sauce than what was on the table. You’d never know this restaurant was here. It’s off the main road. Parking is limited but okay if you don’t mind walking a bit.

Out of the way Marina restaurant. Good food. Good atmosphere. Not quote on the water like they say but enjoyed it.
As of March 2024 it is illegal to bring comfort animals into restaurants. So please stop. I watched a large dog jump on a stranger who was eating at table next to him. Completely uncalled for.
