Food was awesome. I would love bigger portions but I may be being greedy. Great drinks and super friendly staff.

My wife and I didn't eat but sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The drinks were well crafted and delicious. I think this is a great spot overall in the heart of Gallatin. Would highly recommend and go back again! Will have to try the food next time.

Took my 5 year old for a girl's day and was incredibly disappointed and disgusted. Poor customer service and unacceptable wait times after being seated, although, that's minor compared to the cockroach that crawled out from under a strawberry on her charcuterie board. Will most definitely not be back.

Environment has potential but it’s just not there. The man working the bar was nice, but the waitress was clueless about the menu and drinks took quite a while. We got sandwiches and the bread was way too greasy and over cooked (the roof of my mouth is not happy). There were 2 slices of meat on it, which for $14 is ridiculous. The food is something I could of made at home better and cheaper. For the prices they have quite a bit of work to do. Reading through these reviews and the lower rated ones are on point.

Absolutely love this place. BYH is exactly the right fit for Gallatin, whether a visitor or a resident. My personal favorites are their charcuterie boards and I have tried them all! I provide a small box to Airbnb guests and to potential business customers too. Everyone raves about them. BYH has a great atmosphere too. It’s a hang out spot when we need a place for a girls lunch with the added bonus of a glass of wine.

I’m pretty bummed. Decided to go to BYH new location today and ordered the mushroom grilled cheese to go and tomato soup. The grilled cheese was missing two major ingredients which was the onion jam and spinach. All I had was very little mushrooms and sliced unmelted cheese on bread. Also my container of soup was less than a quarter full. I called back and they said they did not have those ingredients and told me the manager was not in. They were kind to replace my sandwich for another but it was no better. My second sandwich was the Jalepino grill cheese. There was barely any Jalepino cream cheese on it and very little bacon. Super bummed out. I feel like I wasted my money. I was gonna even end up getting two charcuterie boards for my baby shower from this place that’s in two weeks. Now that’s out the window. I’m left really hungry and twenty dollars less in my pocket.

BYH is my go-to Gallatin spot. It’s perfect for every occasion including a quick, healthy lunch, date night, girls night, happy hour, and even special events. The vibe is SO fun and the menu is so much more than “just charcuterie”. The sandwiches and soups are delicious, as are their salads.I’m a non-drinker these days, but I love their ability to make fun, craft mocktails that are pretty and tasty, too! They also do a wonderful job accommodating allergies/intolerances with healthy and filling alternatives including grain, gluten, and dairy-free options! My organization often uses them for catering - we’ve done boxes, spreads, and even lunch. It’s all been raves about by attendees, every time!My favorite thing about BYH is the classes they offer. We’ve done board making, cookie decorating for kiddos, and even enjoyed a few of their ticketed dinners. I can’t wait to check our more in the future.Highly recommend you give BYH a try for your next special occasion or just a weekday lunch! If you’re not in Gallatin, it’s worth the drive for a meal followed by a stroll in Gallatin’s historic downtown!

Dietary restrictions: I am grain, gluten, dairy, soy, and egg free. They do a fantastic job accommodating and keeping healthy and filling alternatives in stock!

Parking: So much parking nearby!

Kid-friendliness: The kid menu and fun options for them are great! I wouldn’t plan a play date here, but know that there’s options for the mmm to choose from and it’s great for a mama lunch out with littles!

I will start by saying that the only positive thing about this place was the super friendly bartender who did everything he could to make a bad situation better. The rest of the experience was a train wreck. The area we were seated was not full and was mainly the bartender and one waitress. We were told to seat ourselves so we did, but were never given a menu. Waters were brought for half of our party only. After a while, the waitress came to ask if we put our order in and we told her that we never received a menu, so she brought one. Then she forgot about us. Eventually I heard the bartender ask her of she had helped us and she stood there for a minute with a dumbfounded look. She came over, took our food and drink order. Food was brought out by other girls from the back, but I never received my drink. Meanwhile, another couple who came in after us, received their food and drinks and ended up leaving after only taking a few bites of food, leaving all of the food and full drinks on the table. After asking someone else about my drink, we found out from an overheard conversation that the waitress never gave the bartender the order. The bartender brought it over immediately, apologized and said it was on him. I felt bad since it wasn't even his fault in the first place. I had to ask for the remaining waters and for refills for the others. After we got that, my son pulled out a large piece of plastic from his water (see photo). By that time, we were completely over it. The food and drinks are very pricey for the mediocre (and sometimes not even good) food that you recieve. Not to mention, if you happen to have an experience like we did. I also wish I had read some of the rude replies by the owner on some of these negative reviews before we went in. If so, we would not have even tried this establishment in the first place.

We came here to have lunch during the gallatin fall street festival. It was actually not busy while we were here, so the following cant be chalked up to being in the weeds. The food was not good. We ordered 5 sandwiches, soups and salads. The grilled bread was burnt to a crisp. If not for the hard toast the food probably would have tasted decent. We did pay $15 for small grilled cheese sandwiches. So not only was it not good, they were small. We were rarely visited by our server, no silverware or napkins on the table. Had to track the server down when we were finished eating to try to get our checks. There was a pretty big kerfuffle with payment as a member of our group received the wrong debit card back.... twice! Not a great feeling to think your debit card is in the hands of someone that treats it with that disregard. It seems like more training may be required before we go back to byh.

Husband and I went here after work, sat on the most comfortable chairs. I saw on their Instagram they had S'mores, I had to go, it was delicious and torched to order. The bartender's drink was flavorful with a pleasing aroma. The food was also tasty. ?
