Just ate there today , food was terrible , service was awful wish this place would close its doors , not going back

I had a take out order and it was perfect. The young lady that took my order was so easy to deal with. The order was taken and filled perfectly.

We eat dinner that last night. They wasn't busy at all. Stood 20 minutes no hostess. ok finally she show up and set us. Waitress and took order. First brought out just the hash browns nothing else on plate. ok 10 minutes later chicken come out. But still missing my gravy. Shouldn't food be brought out together? After finish meal we set 20 minutes till wife grab another server and ask please can we get a check. We always like Cracker Barrel but don't see us every eating there again. The shame was not one person said I sorry here.

Came for fish last night. Fish was good. Sides not so much. Mashed potatoes were cool, pinto beans undercooked and cool and the slaw was not much more than shredded cabbage. Sad to see.

Took too long to get meal! 30 minutes and there was that many people in the restaurant.

I tell you...Cracker Barrel just keeps getting worse. The only good thing about the experience was the hostess.
3 people, 3 meals, Country fried steak, Honey glazed chicken, fried chicken. All with sides. Food was disappointing. Waiting 12 minutes to be seated at 4:30pm on a Tuesday. I asked a worker was anyone working to seat people? She replied she was busy...lol. How about saying I'm sorry for the wait, and someone will be here quickly. They were definitely not busy.

We ordered the Christmas dinner for 8-10 people. The food all comes cold but that's to be expected with that amount of food. The heating/cooking time are presented in a straight forward manner... took me about 31/2 hours. All the dishes were very good and the timing came out just right. They forgot our pies and we had to go back. Fortunately not far. Check before departing.

I just want to share our EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE with a waiter named Matthew D! He was so wonderful and friendly. You can tell he loves what he does and cares about his customers ! This has been the best experience I have ever had at Cracker Barrel and even most restaurants. Mr. Matthew D. Deserves recognition for his excellent and wonderful service he provided.Thank you Matthew!

Food was not as good as in the past. Fish overdone, small fillets, had to ask for hush puppies, waitress acted like she was totally bored & didn’t want to be there. So disappointed! We loved CB in the past. Won’t go back until we hear things have changed. Used to be a happy place. I think the only person that smiled was the cashier. She was very pleasant.

I haven’t been here since all the drama, not because of that. But wow I have no idea what happened but I was so impressed. Kinzi was an amazing waitress, the food was fresh and the portions so big I had to get a box! Store and restaurant both clean and busy! Food was delivered fast! Great job Gallatin TJ Cracker Barrel we will be back for sure!
