Food was good. Service was actually too good beleive it or not. The waiter came by so many times asking if we needed anything that it was annoying. I appreciate great service, but part of great service is looking at the table to see with your own eyes if the patrons need anything without asking them every five minutes.

Did a to-go order this weekend and never received a notification the food was ready. So, I went inside at the estimated time it gave me when I placed the order. Once home (five miles from there) two of the three items were cold. The one item that wasn't cold (chicken tenders blended with mac and cheese--incredible!) was really good and will be my go-to item for now on and it will be ate there and not to-go.

I really debated on leaving a review because we used to love this place! But the last 2 times have been bad. The 1st time it was just very slow (over 30 mins waiting for our food mid-day), but it was good once we got it. We also had never had an issue so we let it go.
Saturday night was worse. It wasn’t super busy. We ordered wings and 3 hamburgers. The wings came out great! After 30 minutes, the waiter told us our burgers had been misplaced and were being remade. Another 20 minutes went by. He started avoiding our area all together. My husband asked if they were coming out soon…he said, “they should be.” No apologies. When we were contemplating just saying thanks but no thanks - the food came out. The fries were so cold. It was like they had set there for an hour.
We all ate and tried to let it go…after all, we had our burgers, and we were really hungry at this point.
But then 2 of us (that had the same type of burger) got sick 🤢 $77, no apology on any of the delays, cold fries, & got sick. I hope it gets back to normal, but I don’t know that we’ll be back to find out. :(

i posted this and the owner deleted it!! so i’m reposting! very disappointed tonight, we used to come to double dogs very often because we loved their food. Sad to say tonight was very different, once we received our food our waiter told us don’t worry the ranch is ranch it just has onions in it. I tasted it and the onion taste was very overwhelming to where I could not eat the food I ordered because it was covered. I asked the waiter when it changed and he said never, which I know is not true because we used to come here often. He then starred at me and gave me a look that pretty much said well what do you want me to do about it. I explained I cannot eat that sandwich and he just starred at me again for a few seconds and said okay and took it away. There was not even an apology from our waiter or even the manager. To change a classic dressing and add onions is a huge change. Also not to mention, our waiters attitude towards us significantly changed after I sent this back. I can say unfortunately we will not be back to what used to be our favorite restaurant.
