We love Double Dogs. I always get the buffalo tenders or the burger. We always get great service and really good food. My wife likes the BLT.

Fantastic service! Fantastic food! GREAT menu! Such a a variety to choose from. We started with the onion rings. We asked for no creamy smoked tomato horseradish sauce, because we don't like horseradish sauce, but it came out with the rings anyways and I'm sure glad it did! It's excellent! Hard to describe the flavor...not smokey, not really horseradish-y, just yummy. Hubs got the Hebrew National chili dog and the hand-cut fries. Messy but he said it was really good and I tried his fries and they were really good. I got the southern fried chicken salad. I tried the hot bacon/honey mustard dressing that comes with it, but it wasn't for me (very smokey). I tried the thousand island, made from scratch and oh so good. The chicken is so tender, and you get a good sized portion. Our service was fantastic! Very prompt and attentive. Great in suggesting menu items since it was our first time there. And an excellent atmosphere! HUGE TV's everywhere for all of the games. We need a Double Dogs in Mount Juliet! Oh and I forgot to mention you can bring your (leashed) pup and sit on the patio!

Food here is great, service is lack luster. I have been here multiple times in the past year and the service gets worse and worse every time I go. Always having to track down our servers, or find one to begin our service! When we do get our food, after waiting for at least 25 minutes after we put it in, it is wrong or cold. This is for busy and none busy times. Very disappointed in management!

They can't seem to get their menu items correct, and even said one time that one of their signature dishes had "changed" even though the manager confirmed this was untrue. I've ordered Buffalo Mac & Cheese over 100 times from here since the pandemic. The featured item on this dish is croutons, giant ones. 50 percent of the time or more they leave these off. Sometimes on carryout orders sometimes on dine-in orders. Tonight I said just bring them on the side and they brought me them on the side, but cold. Cold croutons to mix in with Mac and cheese. I've been previously told they took the croutons off the dish entirely but haven't updated the menu yet. They remain on the menu as of this review and the manager insists the menu hasn't changed. I've been comped so many meals it's hilarious. I just want the food I ordered ? It was suggested I tell them ahead of time to "not forget the croutons." I don't want SPECIAL treatment, people spit in your food when you ask for special treatment or complain. This is a proven fact so I try to avoid that.A few years ago my daughter's clothes were ruined after they had bleached the chairs during the pandemic... apparently right before opening. They reimbursed us for the clothes.Why have I kept trying?As a Vol State employee I often enjoyed coming after work, since they are right across the street, and it's a quick drive to get home! Carryout or dine-in, it's hard to resist... if they get the order right.The bartenders here are top notch and always do their best. The food is AMAZING when made correctly, as expensive as it is. It's unfortunate that the problems in the kitchen and with other staff give the restaurant a bad name.

Stopped in with a colleague for lunch. Great atmosphere on a warm day when the doors are open. Enjoyed the chicken strips and onion rings. Good quality food, fair prices for the portion size. Service was good.
Been here on a few occasions, and I will say it gets extremely busy on sports game nights which makes it a little challenging to get a spot since the place is not that big. Service is ok. I probably wouldn't come here as a first option but it is fine to come to on a slower day. Food is decent as well and they have a nice selection of food. Minimal outdoor seating as well for when the weather is nice.
