There were four of us in our party. We were not impressed with the burgers. It looked and tasted like cheap frozen meat. Three of us ordered shakes, one chocolate, one caramel and one red velvet. A lot better at Dairy Queen.

Total gem on the square!
Stumbled into this spot while visiting friends—and I’m so glad we did. The place has that old-school Americana charm but with a fresh, local twist. Burgers, shakes, and a real sense of place. Turns out, it’s right on the historic town square, where this building has been part of the community fabric for decades (you can feel the history in the floors and the friendliness). I love discovering small-town squares, and spots like this are what make them worth the detour.
I ordered the Tree-Hugger and was genuinely impressed. Quinoa, black beans, herbs, melty Provolone, basil mayo, and sweet potato fries. It’s house-made, hearty, and full of flavor. Next time, I’d skip the sweet potato fries—not because they weren’t good, but the burger didn’t need them, and with tots on the side, it was turning into a carb parade (no regrets, though—those tots were top-tier).
My friends both got The Dean—grilled chicken, provolone, bacon, tomato, and that dreamy herb mayo. No notes, just happy sounds all around the table.
Service? Absolutely on point. Super friendly, checked in often, and made sure the coffee never hit half-full.
Bonus: we peeked upstairs and checked out the private party space—super cool vibe. Think exposed brick, warm lighting, and just the right mix of vintage and modern. I’d absolutely throw a party there... now I just need an excuse!
If you’re near the square, do yourself a favor and swing by. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to be a regular.

Nice location in Old Town Gallatin. Best fries you will ever have. Farmhouse burger is excellent as are the malts.

Im 2020 this was the place to be. My friends and boyfriend would come in and grab shakes all the time. It was our favorite place to get shakes. I specifically remember how good the fruity pebbles shake was. My mom and sister and I decided to have a girls day today and we wanted shakes. I recommended this place… big mistake. Things can change drastically in 5 years. We got three shakes to go. Two fruity pebbles and one Oreo. We all try our shakes and look at each other in shock. It genuinely tasted like heavy whipping cream mixed with vanilla extract. I couldn’t even taste fruity pebbles at all. I go back inside and speak to the lady that took our order. I said “not a single one of these shakes taste like anything other than vanilla ice cream” and she gave me a NASTY look and says (with an attitude) “well you can obviously tell there’s stuff in it. I guess I’ll remake them if you bring all of them back in to me.” She took our shakes, remade them, and had another worker bring them back to us. When the worker brought us the shakes we asked if there was a manager. Unfortunately, she was the manager and she is also the owner. When the shakes were remade the Oreo one still had no flavor. The fruit pebble okes has a HINT of fruity pebble flavor. The shakes are like $7 a piece. I PROMISE you can go to sonic and get a shake for a better flavor and better price. The fact that the OWNER handled this situation the way she did is unbelievable. I get that it’s probably not fun dealing with a complaint, but that’s a part of tuning a business. If you can’t handle it correctly maybe find someone else to run your store. If you treat your employees the way you treat your customers, it makes perfect sense as to why you’re hiring. I wanted to enjoy a little bit of nostalgia with one of my favorite shakes, but instead started my girls day with my family off on the wrong note. I will not be going back and I hope anyone who reads this stays away too.
