The Military took me to Southern California for 10 years... I quickly grew to love authentic Mexican food-the small family run places in out of the way places, the little grandmotherly lady that came around every Saturday with the fresh from the steamer handmade tamales etc.When I moved back to Tennessee, these guys came through with real deal authentic Mexican food.

The tacos are absolutely delish especially since the tortillas are handmade and pressed to ordee. They have an awesomely stocked and fresh condiment bar to create your ultimate taco. . The staff is always friendly and personable. The service is quick as well. I frequently dine in or take out. I actually plan to introduce a friend to Gallatin's best Taqueria tomorrow!!!! I can't wait!! You must give this place a try. Buen provecho!

This is a true "hole in the wall" little place, but also a hidden gem! The food here is fresh, hot and prepared to order. I enjoy stopping here for a couple of tacos and a side of rice when I've been working and forgot to grab lunch. They serve beef, chicken and pork tacos, burritos and Tortas. A Torta is like a taco on a sandwich roll...and they are delicious. I prefer the marinated pork (know as "Al Pastor") over any of the other options. It has excellent flavor and needs little or no seasoning added to it.The tacos here are served in the style of "street tacos" with each taco consisting of two small corn tortillas filled with your choice of meats, onions, and cilantro.The burritos are large and should fill you up even if you are starving! The rice and beans are both excellent as well. Hours of operation are a little spotty but if you are in the area and looking for a great meal, give it a try!And in case you are wondering, they speak English and accept both cash and cards!

First visit and we'll definitely be back! Food and service were excellent. Hubby had steak enchiladas and I had a chicken burrito supreme that will easily provide 2 more meals from the leftovers! The chips and salsa were addictive and the guacamole was delicious. The margaritas were generous and refreshing. Can't wait to bring the rest of our family.
