Honestly I've had better pupusas, only one lady working and was super slow, and the place was really hot inside.
One of the best places to find papusa’s
It’s the one thing I look for in a state when traveling, came from Idaho.

Very good service, the lady was very kind,And she explained to me about the phone orders, many people have left her with the food prepared, that is not fair that there are many people who just want to be rude, but the rest is very good, and above all the place is very clean

The food is alright, but the prices are designed for gringos. A flan is the equivalent of $4.30 usd, which I would consider even expensive in the USA. Use the price of the flan as a base line for the rest of the menu. Your local Mayan would not spend money here. This review is written by a Mexican living in USA. So, I know when prices are set for gringos :-)
It doesn’t get any better than this. Taquería De La Unión was very near our hotel and we were looking for something convenient, inexpensive, and of course Mexican. This all pork tacos, and they are so tasty. The Cochinita Pibil ($28MXP) was to die for. The Campechano Torta ($60MXP) was equally is good. (They looked almost the same) This is our best meal in Mexico so far, and the cheapest too. How does that happen?

The taco’s were pretty good, not the best though. The place looked cheap and lacked a good atmosphere. Waiter was rude to me, didn’t feel welcome. The food wasn’t expensive so that’s a plus.
Great for the price, average flavor. Conchinita, Chamorro, pork belly were a bit dry and bland. Go where the locals go, not where white people go. Try Wayan’e for bigger flavor and a better price.
Queso fundido was great but doesn't come with enough tortillas for the amount of cheese extra 20pesos for 4 more.
I went here because I had arrived to Merida late by bus from Cancun and was hungry - this was right across from my hotel. I had low expectations, but this was a very good dinner. Staff was friendly, service was fast, and the place was clean. I had three tacos and each one was tasty! Slightly more expensive than street/market tacos, but it is worth it as they are quite good and you get to sit down and be served.

Colourful welcoming atmosphere.Lots of choices and good sized portions at affordable prices. No complaints.
I had 6 taco’s , bowl of beans and 2 Horchatas. Not only was the food excellent but it was priced very well and not expensive at all. The service was great and the food was fresh, they also played some nice music in the background. It is kinda small inside but definitely worth stopping by and eating there or even if you have to wait. I will be going there again before I leave. The ppl belly taco’s are my favorite..There homemade hot salsa is great too
Delicious tacos, plus a limonata (fresh limeade) and a horchata (a rice-based drink, that tastes like sweet rice pudding with cinnamon) at Taqueria de la Union. $210Mx. Hard to beat for good freshly made food! We tried 3 of their 9 taco offerings and all were delicious and perfectly garnished. Friendly service too!
great place; The food has a very good price, and has just sooo much taste. Also for a vegetarian there are 3 tasty options. 3 tacos will get you filled up nicely already.
I finally went to this little cafe after reading all the reviews. It did not disappoint at all. I was the only one there on a Sunday while the town of Merida was quiet while all the locals were with their families in church. I ordered tacos filled with cochinita pibil, lechon al horno, pork belly al pastor. To be honest I don't think it would matter what I ordered I believe every taco would have tasted as delicious as the previous one. The food and flavours are excellent and can't be beat. The little cafe started filling up fairly quickly as I was finishing my third taco so no surprise there. I also ordered the local Yucatan drink of Horchata (white in colour) which is a semi-sweet dairy-free beverage made with soaked grains or nuts and seeds, that's flavoured with spices. It is drank throughout Mexico and is delicious.
