We love the food here. We live 4 hours from Nashville and we travel to eat there often. We have had the same server that we always get. But today, we were approached by another server about not leaving a tip. We had in fact tipped but this lady thought we didn't. She yelled at us in front of multiple tables. As much as the food is great, I don't think our large parties will be returning this establishment. I tried to talk to a manager but there was no manager to be found. Very disappointed today...

We frequent this restaurant a couple times a year. We normally get their catfish, because it's alwaysfantastic. Today we decided for one of us to order ribs and the other to get the catfish and share. The catfish was great as usual, but the ribs neither of us were a fan. Will not order their ribs again.

I have heard about this place having great BBQ and catfish! My wife and I decided to check it out and we are so glad we did! WOW, once inside we felt like a rustic home restaurant serving great food. It is located in a rough looking area but don't let that stop you. No alcohol is served which is fine with me. The fruit tea is perfect! I had cornbread cakes which were delicious with Cole slaw, white beans (with cut up onions) and fried catfish. My wife had BBQ with turnip greens and country fries. Well worth the trip and will definitely be back!
