Vui's Kitchen - Gallatin

Service and atmosphere is great, the place is real cute. I’ve eaten a lot of pho and this just ain’t it for me. The broth wasn’t very hot, the beef I got with it was too space. They already dumped all the toppings into the pho rather than putting it on the side which was surprising to me- I added a tiny bit of chili sauce and only tasted that, the broth tasted like water to me. Maybe I caught them at a bad day, id still recommend giving it a try.

I’m not sure who’s the cook in this location but I will give them a benefit of the doubt and give them 2 stars 1) Open face sandwich is NOT a banh mi! We ordered pork belly banh mi. It came exactly like open face sandwich. They did admit they don’t have and still looking for the right kind of bread. I will give them credit for realizing bread is what makes a great banh mi 2) Broth determines and separates a GOOD bowl of pho from pho ‘wannabe’. We had the beef pho with lukewarm broths and tasted like bouillon.. I’m not sure of a Vietnamese kitchen that has Tacos on their menu simply because they are not concentrated on any specific which is not a good idea for a restaurant

We had heard about Vui’s from a friend. My wife and I enjoyed dining in and had a very nice dinner. The appetizer of Summer Rolls was excellent. We ordered the Thai Noodles Bowl with chicken and the Vui’s Bowl with chicken.
Good choice! Very tasty and fresh!

Definitely will be back!

The food is poorly executed, and they skimp on the protein. It's below average, particularly for the price. We had wings, bahn mi, and a bowl. None of those entrees were good. Just ok. The place is clean, and the service was prompt and friendly, though.

Fast becoming one of our local favorites. The vegan Pho is excellent, be careful if you add the chili oil, it’s got a kick. Started off with a tofu bao. My partner had the Mahi Mahi cabbage salad.

Pho was acceptable. However, if you care anything about fueling your body and actually getting nutrition, I would not recommend. Gave me and my buddy a couple of slivers of meat like we were serving time in the gulag and just got rations. Also like no noodles at all.
