Ordered the brisket platter and was served about $3 worth of brisket for $18. The meat was very dry and not tender. The smoke profile was also lacking. My best guess is that someone tried to rush the brisket to finish. One thing that would help is not to serve the meat from the flat on the platter unless specifically requested and reserve that for the sandwiches. Evidently this place is a flip of the coin because there are a lot of good reviews.

Service and food were good. Pulled pork wasnโ€™t the best Iโ€™ve ever had but not bad. The ribs were good but the brisket was the best. We will pass on the corn and beans next time but the mac n cheese, baked beans and fries were good. Our son had the brisket burger and oh my gosh, it was so delicious! I think next time we go, we will all order that!! We also liked the different options of sauces. I would personally like corn bread over the biscuits but they were decent.

Had a graven for some good BBQ. Saw the reviews and said let me try this place out. Noting that everyone's experience will be different based on different factors such as how you as a person cook your food and your knowledge of what food should or shouldn't taste like. So with that being said. I'm a cook, to be transparent. So let's jump in. Our server was great. Now to the place itself. Had a musty smell which was a turn off. Had cobwebs hanging from the wood above our table and in several other places. I ordered the sampler of meat, BBQ ribs, Chicken and Brisket. Sides were mac and cheese roasted corn on the cob, coleslaw. To be transparent I don't eat pork so my spouse was the rib eater. She didn't like the ribs, mainly the sauce that was on it. The corn was swimming in butter and you can tell that the corn was not fresh because of how gummy it was when you bite into it. Doesn't look like it was fire roasted it had more of a dark smoke look. Not from a grill. Not sure what they had it on but wasn't good. Not sure what they tried to do but it didn't work. Brisket needed a little more flavor. Had a good bark but was a bit gummy to chew.

Again I understand that restaurants can't season to my taste because everyone won't like a lot of flavor in their food because they have not been exposed to good seasoned food. The chicken leg quarter was really chared, smokey and dry. The coleslaw was pretty good. I ended up asking for a second helping. The sweet tea was good. Mac and cheese was ok.

Unfortunately my wife pushed her plate away and refused to eat any of it as she herself is a hell of a cook. In the end she ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza from next door. She enjoyed that.
I would tell the owners to do a deep clean of the restaurant. Find another way to ensure that the chicken is still moist after leaving the grill. Overall I myself would not return. But again don't let my review disparage you from experiencing the place. Its only my opinion.

Our server Tammy was great. The brisket and chicken were both excellent, as was the garlic biscuit. Service size was large also.

Visiting from out of town..service was good, restaurant was clean but the food left a lot to be desired. Pulled pork was cold, tough and hard, not good at all. Probably the worst pork sandwiches we ever tried to eat.

Bennetts was recommended to us by a local and we were very pleased. My family of 3 (one a toddler) split the platter that had 5 samples of meat and two sides. The meal was $30 and it fed all 3 of us. The portions were generous and all the food was delicious. Their homemade BBQ sauce was memorable. We had the fried chili chess bites as well. We would definitely return
