We were able to walk here from our hotel for dinner, and it was certainly worth the walk - it's a bit out of the way up a side street. Counter service - order and wait for your number to be called. Pretty varied menu with lots of options, but all standard stuff, nothing out of the ordinary. Pulled pork on a bun was moist and tasty, as was the chicken, the sides were good and obviously house made, as were the sauces. They had a small selection of local craft beer, but what they had was good.

Food was cold. All of it. Even the fries. Order also wrong. Pulled pork had no taste and all the sauses were sweet even the vinegar sause. Staff cranky and not helpful.

Bones BBQ Joint, late on Friday night - was worried that all they would have left would be dried out meat and the dregs of the mac n cheese sides. Turned out the 1/4 pound of pulled pork sandwich was moist enough that I didn’t even need to use any of the half dozen sauce choices they had available! The mac n cheese was fresh tasting, and I really liked the potato salad - very flavorful! Several brews in tap, and wuite a few more in bottles/cans. Would definitely go back! Great last minute find you should take advantage of!

Really good food. Meat was a bit dry but when we added BBQ sauce it was really good. Potato salad, beans, and Cole slaw were amazing. Staff is super friendly and it’s off the main road so it wasn’t crazy busy on a Saturday night.

The food was okay nothing special. Maybe it was the time I went in but the pork seemed like it was microwaved and not smoked today. The pickle chips were extra greasy and fried for too long. The batter was extra thick and not thin like every other fried pickle chips I have ever had. I didn’t expect them to be amazing since it’s a bbq joint but I still wanted to try them.

Stopped in here for some BBQ with the kids on vacation. The have a variety of sauces you can pump on your on including Alabama white, mustard, a bourbon BBQ, a sweet BBQ, and a vinegar BBQ. So they have everyone covered. They have all of your typical sides covered. I got Mac n cheese and it was good and creamy, and the fried okra.

From the warm welcome we recieved to the explanation of the menu, our first time here (the wife and I), this was a great experience altogether. The food was great, hot, and the wait was under 20 mins maybe 15. Tasty sauces to choose from and a clean restsurant. There's the option to sit out on the patio as well. Great place to visit if in the area, easily accessible and great location.

Update: we've been in Gatlinburg for three days and this is our third trip to this restaurant for their awesome bbq salads.Don't miss this place!Had a great iceberg garden salad with brisket on top today. The brisket was moist and smoky and the salad had lots of veggies on it. My wife had the garden salad without meat and loved hers too! Definitely going back to try more.

We visit the area at least twice a year and make this a must stop! Fried green tomatoes, bbq, green beans, Mac and cheese. The brisket sandwich melts in your mouth!!

I planned a long weekend away for 25+ people. I contacted a ton of local places for catering each night, which wasn't an easy feat due to the multiple dietary needs. Bones BBQ was an absolute dream to work with on everything. Fast forward and I realized on the night I thought we were getting delivery, at delivery time, that I had made a HUGE MISTAKE; I had my dates off by one. I was an absolute wreck and began panicking; Alex was a miracle worker and came through for us. He had basically the entire order ready and delivered in less than 2 hours. I can't say enough good things about the food and how much everyone loved it. I highly recommend them and will definitely check them out again in the future!

My wife and I both ordered pulled pork entrees. The pork was smoked nicely, moist and flavorful. Good sauces available for added flavor. Sides ordered (slaw, corn on the cob, green beans) were all done well. Very satisfying.

Everything our family had was delicious. The brisket was very tender and the pulled pork was great. The bourbon bbq sauce is a must, as is the white sauce.

Hmmmmm, I'd say maybe 2.5/3. My family got ours to go.I got the rib sandwich w/ potato salad & mac n cheese. Those cups in the picture are the side dish portions if you order to go. So you're getting a couple forkfuls. The mac n cheese was tasteless & bland. No flavor. Less tasty than boxed mac n cheese (sorry y'all). The potato salad was also just okay. It was "ehh." My mom hated it. I thought it was doable though not delicious. Just something to eat.My ribs were juicy & tender. The sauces on the side were good & helped me get it down. I gotta have sauces. The sandwich is just bread & meat, they don't put sauce on it.My dad got the pulled pork I believe. He wasn't impressed. Him & my mom both said, "this was very disappointing." With the sauce, the pulled pork was fine (I ate his leftovers the next day lol). The hush puppies were pretty good. I've never had em before to compare them with anything. All in all, a subpar experience. Sorry if that's harsh, Bones gotta help the people out & be honest.

Alex worked a 20-person catering order for me in one day. Called him at 1030 and picked up the food at 6:30 pm. He was very helpful and let me order exactly what everyone wanted. It was lucky for us we picked that day to order out because the power went out in our house just before we picked up the food. We set up a buffet, and the ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken rocked the family. It's hard to pick a favorite but the ribs were the first to go. This was my first time in Gatlinburg, but it won't be the last time I have Bones BBQ! Thanks, Alex for a great meal and memory!!

We had ribs and chicken dinners. We didn't like the baked beans much and the coleslaw was not better too. Liked the okra though. But best of all, the ribs and chargrilled chicken were good, and the portions were large. Free parking space and outdoor dining were plus features. See QR code for the menu
