On December 12 at around 8:00 - 9:00PM I stopped at the shop to get ice cream and enjoyed the Christmas lights with my family. I’m the only one who got ice cream.
By that time approximately 24 hours later I suffered from severe food poisoning. I was up in my hotel room vomiting for over 12 hours due to food poisoning from the ice cream.
Do not eat any food from the 2 chocolate monkey stores in Gatlinburg if you want to risk getting food poisoning from contaminated ice cream.
Today is Monday and I’m back to normal, but Saturday evening and Sunday morning was hell.
Again. Please do NOT eat their food unless you want to spend over 12 hours vomiting and getting ZERO sleep.

Great selection of wonderful handmade candies! We picked out several to try. The peanut butter balls (buckeyes) are comparable to granny's! The turtle pretzels and tiger butter are good too. The ladies are amazing and will cut up your caramel apple for you!

I was there with my family, we got 4 ice cream and the lady told how do I pay and I paid with card and they charged my card $100 more ….. I tried to go there but was closed and I left so my bank contacted them, still waiting. Be careful with how much you pay there.

The apple pie caramel apple is the best, hands down!!
This place was very very dirty and unhygienic! The workers were rude and it smelt bad.
Pretty good experience. They were busy but still gave great service. Everything we bought was very good. We will return.
My husband wanted to try this place and he got the strawberry. He said it was delicious. I tried a little bit of his and it was good.
