First, there was no wait. The place was empty.

I started with deep-fried pickles. They were overcooked and much too thin. All you were eating was the breading.

My main course was the smoked meatloaf. It was cooked well, I don't personally care for barbecue sauce on my meatloaf, however. It's worth a try nonetheless.

My server was cordial and attentive.

Overall midcore experience.

My mom and I had the best experience!! Terry was an amazing server and had the best recommendations! We will definitely be back, thank you so much!! The shrimp and grits and creamed corn were some of the best we’ve ever had!

Food was not good unfortunately. We had chicken, fish, and barbecue platter. None of us finished our food. Service was decent.

The food was inedible. The menu didn’t have very many options so I ended up just getting sides. They were so nasty, I couldn’t eat them at all. My husband got a burger that was drowning in grease and he said it tasted like they put a whole bottle of pepper on it. We ended up spending nearly $45 and we couldn’t really eat anything. It was awful!

We ordered fried pickles and there really weren't any pickles left once they were fried. I got the country fried chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes, it was hot but nothing special. The macaroni and cheese was good. Overall, we would probably not go back because there are just too many places that are better

Cool atmosphere and history. Portions were good, the shrimp and grits were great. Désirée was a fantastic server, really above and beyond, super attentive, and great recommendations. Shoutout for the awesome birthday breakfast!

Our waitress had an awesome personality, she was kind and attentive. She was so knowledgable about the area and the fun things to do. The place was super clean and really beautiful! The food was not very good. It was pretty average and didnt impress us much. Has a good cheese burger though!

Great place for a late lunch! Terry was an amazing server and kept us well supplied on a busy day :) we also adored the cuddly-looking bobcat above the porch door.

If you get Terry as your server when you come here, you are in for a treat. The food was great, and the wait was a little ridiculous considering it took about 45 minutes despite us being one of a few groups in the building, but it was all made up by our experience with our beloved Terry!
Me and my wife were celebrating our recent marriage with a group of friends, and Terry perceptively gathered the newlywed vibe on us - we didn’t even tell her and she knew! She told us about her relationship, her income, her familial values, and even gave us priceless advice to relocate to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge region. Then, if that wasn’t delightful enough, she gifted me, my wife, and my friends some decadent peanut butter fudge pie as a celebration!

We had an excellent experience dining the other day at this establishment. Our server Terry was absolutely amazing and a delight to talk to. She was very funny and regaled us with riveting conversation while providing excellent service. The food was a little slow to come out, but was delicious when it did. The dessert was outstanding as well. Would absolutely return to this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Very slow service, inedible burnt burger, cold food, and gross meat. We left very upset. This place is not worth it.

Very cool place worth visiting at least once. The atmosphere and decorating is really neat and suits the Tennessee vibe perfectly. Waitress was friendly and patient with the kids learning to order their own food. I got the Mexican City Burger and loved it. Only slight complaint is that it was a tad cold but that’s excusable considering we got there only about 20 minutes before closing time. We really enjoyed the story about the dog the restaurant is named after too.
