My wife and I were visiting out of town and decided to try the restaurant on February 14th, 2025. We knew it would be busy, as every restaurant was packed that day, and we anticipated a longer wait. While the food was good, I really wanted to share about the staff.

Even though it was a busy day and the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed, our waitress (Leslie), who was also the bartender, did an amazing job. She worked hard, and we really appreciate her efforts....
Salad was very fresh...soup was almost can like....not a super friendly bunch of employees...very interesting decor and history of a dog. Cumberland jack was the dogs name...a portion of the restaurant taken after the old settlement homes near Townsend called Elkmont...some homes are still there...
I had the riffle ribeye with mashed potatoes and slaw. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal. 10/10 the slaw was good too but the ribeye was probably the worst steak I have had in a long time if not ever. I ordered medium and it was well done, couldn't even chew it. My husband had the shrimp tortellini and it was 200/10.
