Salad was very fresh...soup was almost can like....not a super friendly bunch of employees...very interesting decor and history of a dog. Cumberland jack was the dogs name...a portion of the restaurant taken after the old settlement homes near Townsend called Elkmont...some homes are still there...
I had the riffle ribeye with mashed potatoes and slaw. The mashed potatoes were the best part of the meal. 10/10 the slaw was good too but the ribeye was probably the worst steak I have had in a long time if not ever. I ordered medium and it was well done, couldn't even chew it. My husband had the shrimp tortellini and it was 200/10. Even though it was a busy day and the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed, our waitress (Leslie), who was also the bartender, did an amazing job. She worked hard, and we really appreciate her efforts....
