I had Groupons for this place. We drove to Gatlinburg and I saw the sign on the way in. Enjoyed the day up there, then walked all the way to the restaurant. We found out it was closed. It just had a mop bucket and a few boxes in the floor.

Amazing staff and unique, delicious food. Even took care of our friend with a gluten allergy. We had multiple group of friends slowly joining and they made us all feel welcome. Would highly recommend! We had 15 people go back multiple nights. Thanks guys for a great time during our wedding weekend!

Good Eats came across my radar because 1: there is a major lack of vegetarian options and 2: there are sadly a diminishing number of chains in Gatlinburg. Luckily, we found that this place had house made veggie burgers so it was a must. We spent an hour or so trying to find veggie foods and we ended up here. I'm so glad we did. We ordered our veggie burgers with fries. While we waited, we chatted with the person helping us. He talked about gatlinburg and how much it changed (for the worse) ever since so many chains started taking over. This place has a great selection of craft beers, ranging from fruity to hoppy to thick and stouty. All great options. My veggie burger was just "meh" on the list of veggie burgers I've tried but hey, it's local and I'd rather support local than a nasty burger from McDonalds. Sadly, the employee told us that Paula Deen has purchased their building and will soon be taking over, pushing Good Eats out. So, be sure to get in before that happens to be sure to support local. (Damn you and your butter, Paula Deen...)
We love eating at Good Eats when we visit Gatlinburg, TN. The food is awesome! There are a lot of great choices on the menu. We love the veggie and fruit plate. Tony makes the plate look like a work of art!
