Howard's Restaurant Gatlinburg's Oldest Restaurant

Howard’s is a great place and has a great food! The service was great and they even give you a free postcard picture.

As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted & sat within a couple minutes. Service was great & food was top tier! Loved the wings & catfish nuggets!

Don't go to this restaurant! Went in and put our name on the wait list. We waited for 20 mins and they sat 2 different parties that came in behind us first! One of the groups was a group of 8! The lady in the party of 8 told the old guy at the counter that our group of 4 was in front of their big group and he laughed and said he knows and we are in line. We then walked out! Would not recommend going here if you like remotely decent service when dining!

This is an amazing place to eat. It is VERY pet friendly and even has a menu for your pet. They are very accommodating and the food is delicious! I highly recommend eating here with or without pets.

I haven’t been to every restaurant in Gatlinburg but so far this place has exceeded my expectations for food in Gatlinburg. The meal didn’t have the usual “feeding an army” taste that everywhere else that I have been has had. I can’t give it 5 stars on food quality but it’s pretty good, I have no complaints about it by any means. The service was TOP NOTCH!

This may be our favorite restaurant we’ve ever been to. The food was incredible, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was off the charts.

We started with the egg roll appetizer. Very unique fusion dish with a great dipping sauce. For dinner we had the Dinner For Two. Both had medium rare ribeyes that were to die for. The onion rings were crispy and tasty. The sautéed mushrooms had a great texture. The teriyaki mixed veggies were also yummy.

If you’re near Gatlinburg and trying to decide where to eat, look no further.
