J.O.E. and Pop's Sub Shoppe

We came to this sub shop specifically because we heard that it offer great gluten-free options and we were not disappointed! The staff told us that the owner’s kids are celiac and several staff have gf family members, so they are very attentive to gf needs. The gf wrap was excellent. The portions are generous and fresh. Totally recommend this place if you are looking for gluten-free options!

Very popular local place. We had the fried chicken (a little greasy for me, but clearly fine for most people) and chicken tenders. Their cole slaw was delicious and they let us taste it before we ordered it. They also offered sub sandwiches, but we didn't try those.

Worst food we’ve had in Gatlinburg, or anywhere for that matter. It was clearly old and had been reheated. It was completely inedible. I have no idea how people have rated this place as highly as they have. We threw our food away and tossed it up as a $50 lesson learned.

This was a very good place to eat! Finally I got a good Reuben. The front desk gentleman was so nice and friendly. The pretty blonde lady who we talked to about her business was very kind. We all loved our food! Clean too!

Great lunch spot! A lot of choices on the menu.

Went for lunch with a huge soccer team of about 50 people in front of us in line. The staff handled the rush so well with a great attitude. Our food was so good, fresh, and the right temperature. I was worried it wouldn't be worth the wait, but it surpassed any expectations I had.

Any other day, I would recommend this place. I’ve been a regular once a week for a few months now. I’m not sure if there is new owners/employees….but today it was very odd. The woman taking my order did not seem to want to be there. I told her that the air vent was leaking (I told her nicely. Just didn’t want someone falling n the company gets sued) and she didn’t seem too interested. I was handed my food by a gentleman. I said thank you and no your welcome, no have a good day…nothing. I will prob not be returning. It’s sad most places here in town are crumbling for customer service.

Ordered takeout. The order was done early and correctly. The food was excellent.
