Randomly closed on April 16, 2025. Nothing online said it was closed, just a piece of paper on the door that said they were closed this particular day for no particular reason. Thanks for making me drive nearly 2 hours for nothing…
Stopped in for lunch during a quick adventure to Gatlinburg. The restaurant was very clean and the service was amazing. Joe was very accommodating and treated us as if he had known us for years. He had great suggestions on food choices. Which was amazing choices and very delicious. I recommend this family owned restaurant 100%. Thank you Joe for making us feel welcomed.
My fiancé and I came here about 2 years ago on a trip and knew we had to visit this place again when we came back to the mountains. Joe is such a fun and friendly guy and the food? DELICIOUS! 10/10 we will come here for a burger every trip we make here in the future! I got the “nature burger” or a mushroom Swiss and he got the “tram burger” which is like a bacon burger with tomato and onion. We really enjoyed ourselves and did the outdoor seating this time- weather was perfect for it! Again, THANKS JOE FOR EVERYTHING ! 😁

Great service. Hidden away on an upper floor but surprisingly tasted very homemade. Large space. Good for our group with several children. Small patio area. Clean bathrooms.

Little pricey but that’s expected for the location. Our server Joe was fantastic. He recommend some local attractions. Burgers were good. Fries were some of the best.

A much needed low key reprieve from Gatlinburg madness. As opposed to two other restaurants we visited in an attempt to get lunch, Mountain Edge had a friendly wait staff that provided timely seating. Also, the music was not deafening and timeless (Queen, Beatles, etc). Service at the table was fast and friendly. All six of our table's orders were tasty, high quality and reasonably priced. The only downside was the requirement to climb stairs to get to the second floor entrance. Don't get distracted by the parrot store.
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options.
Kid-friendliness: Server offers typical kid options for $8.50

I waited for 15 min to be seated for a party of 4 with 70% of seating open. 5 different servers walked by without them even acknowledging us. I will not try going here again..

Joe was the best part of this experience. Food was solid but he was so kind and informative.

Unexpected gem on the Parkway! The bison burger and the chili dog was worth coming back for! The fries were thick, crisp and seasoned so well. The craft/draft drink selection was more than we expected. We will return!

Outstanding service, unfortunately they're lacking on the food department. Bison burger was bland, dry and overcooked.

Mountain Edge Grill is a solid choice for a casual, family-friendly meal. Despite only two servers (one pulling double duty as host), the service was friendly and efficient. Our food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. Highly recommend the La Conte Sandwich – delicious, and the fries are worth the upcharge! Be sure to pair them with their signature honey mustard for a great dipping experience. This isn't an upscale place, but they offer a nice variety of sandwiches, burgers (including bison), and even pizza. Overall, a great spot for a laid-back meal.
