Stopped in for lunch during a quick adventure to Gatlinburg. The restaurant was very clean and the service was amazing. Joe was very accommodating and treated us as if he had known us for years. He had great suggestions on food choices. Which was amazing choices and very delicious. I recommend this family owned restaurant 100%. Thank you Joe for making us feel welcomed.
My fiancé and I came here about 2 years ago on a trip and knew we had to visit this place again when we came back to the mountains. Joe is such a fun and friendly guy and the food? DELICIOUS! 10/10 we will come here for a burger every trip we make here in the future! I got the “nature burger” or a mushroom Swiss and he got the “tram burger” which is like a bacon burger with tomato and onion. A much needed low key reprieve from Gatlinburg madness. As opposed to two other restaurants we visited in an attempt to get lunch, Mountain Edge had a friendly wait staff that provided timely seating. Also, the music was not deafening and timeless (Queen, Beatles, etc). Service at the table was fast and friendly. All six of our table's orders were tasty, high quality and reasonably priced. The only downside was the requirement to climb stairs to get to the second floor entrance....
