Great experience. Went towards the end of Feb 2024. Unfortunately, the weather was 54 degrees. However, Ober Mountain still had the man made snow/ice everywhere so you could enjoy winter activities. The snow tube was great and the experience of riding the cable car was great. Buy tickets in advance. Additionally you can drive up to Ober mountain but I would recommend taking the cable cars from Gatlinburg, a little pricey but worth the views and experience.

Cool experience when not too crowded

I loved visiting Ober. We went 2 days in a row and had a blast. We rode the tram with Ron as our guide and he was awesome! Definitely give that guy a shoutout for us! We also tried out the Tennessee Flyer, tube slide, ice bumper cars, ski lift, carousel, wildlife habitat and the swings. Each activity was very fun. We also visited the shops and were pleasantly surprised at the Ober Merch store that wasn't too pricey, I got a shirt and sweatshirt for $35 total. Can't wait to visit again.

We went on 04/05/24 and had a great time with our 2 children, ages 10 and 12. We spent almost the whole day there as there was plenty to do. We ice skated, did the ice bumper cars, rode the tram, went on the Tennessee Flyer (coaster) 2 times, and the kids went on the rock climbing wall. We had lunch there and the food was good. The weather, which they have zero control over, was unfortunately chilly. That was the only negative. I would definitely recommend going there if your looking for something to do with a variety of activities for the whole family!

Not worth it. Paid for a ticket and waited an hour in line to get on a 60 second roller coaster and then the only other things to do were to look at the poor animals entrapped in the "wildlife zoo", ride a ski lift to absolutely nothing (literally nothing but a stand selling waters), and climb a rock wall made for children. Do not even waste your time coming here, there's so many other options in Gatlinburg.

After visiting on more than one occasion I can honestly say that the staff was great the attraction were great. But our favorite person was Ron our tram driver, he was funny, witty and informative, for us he was the cherry on the whip cream desert. We end our visit there charged up in a positive way ready for our next adventure. Thanks Ron

This place is a rundown SНIТ HOLE! They say they’ve remodeled and spent a lot of money doing so, I don’t see where that money went because year after year this place is a disappointment. Only thing it has going is winter time skiing/snowboarding. Smells like old musty boots in the trams and building. Feel bad for the animals being in those dumpsters of enclosures as well. Go to Anakeesta instead.

What we liked: the tram ride was lovely, but they definitely pack it full if there are a lot of people. The mini zoo was cute (takes about 30 minutes). Bumper ice boats were fun (about 6 minutes to ride). The ski lift was a nice ride (10 minutes?). The employees were nice. What we didn't like: Many things were closed or inoperable. The alpine sled was not in season, although it was not cold enough for snow or ice. They spoke as if the mountain coaster was temporarily closed and they would make an announcement when it was ready, but it was closed the entire time we were there. The carousel was closed. The line to the bumper boats was pretty long since there wasn't much else to do. The website said the bike trail would open in "Spring." Luckily I asked before hauling our bikes out of state, but they said it won't open till late May. That's almost summer. There was a small area (may 9' x 20') with some snow, but the sign said you can't throw snowballs. Parking is an additional expense to consider. The cheapest parking we found was $10 at a Methodist church on a hill behind some shops on the main drag.

Awesome view, but it was overshadowed by the poor customer service. The people working the cab line up and down as well as 3 of the 5 associates on the ski lift were rude and made it seem like they hated their job. The ski lift attendant literally yelled at my kids as they were getting off. The cab attendants were demanding and rude to people. It's sad really, could've been the best part of the trip and turned out to be the worst.

This is a must see/do attraction! Ice skating, bumper cars, animals for the kids then take the trolley down to Downtown Gatlinburg! Plenty to do and see and eat! The best wine tasting and moonshine places for free. You will need multiple days to see everything. Perfect for adults and children. It is alot of walking down the strip so wear comfortable shoes and don't forget to ask about military discount.

My daughter and wife had a great time; they loved visiting this place. Spectacular views, food at a very good price. The people who served at the food stalls weren't very friendly, but I found the prices very affordable. The only thing is, I still don't understand why the chairs to climb the mountain have that design. If people are afraid of heights, it's not a very pleasant experience. But apart from that, an excellent experience. My daughter and wife had a great time, they loved visiting this place, spectacular views, the food at a very good price, the people who serve where they sell the food were not very friendly, but the prices seemed very affordable to me, the only thing I still don't understand why the chairs to climb the mountain have that design, if people are afraid of heights it is not a very pleasant experience, but from then on it is an excellent experience.

Not alot to do for $50. What they do have you wait in line forever. Save your money.

We came in the Spring of 2024 all the way from Brooklyn NY to the Smokies and we visited Ober Mountain. This place is the best place. The staff are super nice. The attractions are great. The view on the top of Mountain after taking the yellow chairlift is breathtaking. The mountian coaster is great. The animal encounter is super cute. And how can I forget the tram ride up and down from Gatlinburg, wow was that great. The operators of the tram were informative and entertaining. There's something for everyone in this place. Also, the best thing is that once you have that wristband all attractions are included.I have been to other parks in the Smokies in the past, but nothing matches up to this. This is a full day attractions.

It’s a great place but I felt ripped off. Many of the things they advertise weren’t available. The swing chairs looked like they hadn’t run in years. The alpine slide wasn’t open (they said they didn’t have staff) the tubing wasn’t open. The trampoline they advertised was non existent. Because there were so many things not available the line to do the mountain coaster was 3 hours long. The line for rock climbing an hour long. With 3 small kids neither one of those is very feasible. I understand having a hard time getting staff but I paid the same amount as I would have had we been able to do the advertised things
