Convenient location for the resort guests. Food was good. Service was good too. My glass went empty. He was great at helping me choose my meal.

We ate breakfast there twice and it was delicious! we had dinner there our last night at the resort the collard greens are perfection! The chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes were good. My husband had the burger and fries liked them very much! Service was excellent the young man who waited on us on the6th of June is a fantastic waiter kind and attentive! Pat and Chris

Fun vibes nice drink's

The Carolina Shrimp and Grits were exceptionally delicious. The fried okra possessed a delightful crispness, and the green tomatoes were prepared to perfection.

The breakfast was amazing! From the cinnamon oatmeal to the omelets. The atmosphere was very nice and family friendly. I would definitely return.

No decent vegetarian options. There are some vegetarian appetizers and sides, but even the beans and rice size has meat in it. For such a large resort in 2026 I am surprised there is not at least a veggie burger or a tofu dish. At least make the beans and rice vegetarian.

I had breakfast at Southern Comfort, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is warm, rustic, and inviting—perfect to start the day while staying in Gatlinburg. It has that cozy Southern charm that makes you feel relaxed right away.

The breakfast menu delivers a true Southern-style experience. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. From the eggs to the sides, everything tasted homemade and comforting. You can tell they focus on quality ingredients and classic flavors, which really makes a difference in the morning.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made sure everything came out on time and just as expected. The overall vibe is calm and welcoming—great for families, but also nice if you’re just looking for a peaceful breakfast before heading out to explore the Smoky Mountains.

Overall, it’s a great spot for breakfast if you’re staying at Westgate or nearby. Good food, cozy ambiance, and a solid way to start your day.

We stopped by for breakfast on our first morning during our stay, and it was a great experience. The restaurant wasn’t too busy when we arrived, and we were seated right away. Everything looked clean and had a warm, homey feel. Soft music played in the background, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.
Our waiter was wonderful—he took our order promptly, and our drinks and food arrived within just a few minutes. The food was delicious! My boys had the all-you-can-eat French toast, I had the create-your-own omelet, and my husband ordered the Westgate Slam.
We were all very satisfied with both our meals and the excellent service.

Looking for a place to eat and the menu sounded good. We went on a Monday evening during “off season” so there was only 2 other families in there. The service was great even though our waiter was training someone. The drinks and food were also great. We left full and content. I’d definitely go back
