This was our first visit and it was a great find. We tried the grilled cheese burger......awesome! Try the smoked catsup on your fries....also awesome! The service and atmosphere were also great!

Happened to wander into Sun Diner while spending the day in Gatlinburg. So glad we did! The ambience is awesome, the food was delicious, and Ms. April, who was our wait staff member, is a gem. I highly recommend!

We came here for breakfast 3 days during our trip to Gatlinburg. The biscuits and gravy are great. Our son loved the pancakes with their "Rise 'n Shine" syrup. We had different servers each time we went and they were all wonderful.Kid-friendliness: They were patient and kind with our kids and it was a fun atmosphere for them.

Currently sitting in the resteraunt. It's been 45 minutes and we still haven't gotten any water or drinks we've ordered even after asking twice. Really isn't that busy so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. First time I'm Gatlinburg, last time at this diner.
