RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!
My wife and I stayed at this outdated/dirty room hotel from 12-30-24 thru 1-2-25 and never had room service of fresh towels and bed remade. We had to call the front desk to have them bring us bathroom tissue. Also we ate their buffet new years night unaware that it was $70 per person (Didn’t see the fine print)
However, it was our fault for not seeing this on the menu. But when we got the final bill, it was $189 due to fees (a alcohol fee, but we drink water) and gratuity of 18% (which we never seen our waiter but one time.) We ask the busboy for a refill of water but he didn’t speak english he said. On top of all this, we were charged $15 for parking on our credit card about a hour after we checked out!! We called (865) 436-9211 and spoke to a manager, of course, he just said that that’s their policy.
They should take some of the money they make off of people and upgrade their rooms and clean the carpet.!!

I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!

Was disappointed that on New Years Eve, being dressed up to the nines, there were kids, dogs, adults dressed in pajamas running EVERYWHERE!! Was expecting a more dressy, mature, sparkly, atmosphere for a New Years Eve!! No place to dance near stage of band, no seats to sit. Very disappointed as was looking for this Hotel to be a more upscale, sophisticated, place for a New Years Eve night out with My Husband.

Beautiful Hotel! The bar on site was a rip off. I truly believe they did not put alcohol in the mixed drinks, however they charged a lot for the drinks. Pool was great staff was friendly and incredible. Would recommend staying here just don't get drinks from bar.

Food and drinks: Like I said the bar on site was a rip off. They did not put any alcohol in mixed drink and the femal bartender was rude.

Rooms are okay, no room service we had to call( we had no sign on our door do not disturb) then they left towels in a trash bag in from of our door we also took our own trash out and on top of all this the new years dinner was over charged per person then the receipt had a alcohol charge and we only ordered water and the waitress was gratuity was automatically added of 18% and on top of that we only seen her one time . And you all need to put the price of the dinner in bold writing on the menu I know it’s New years dinner but come on! people paying to stay there and spend New years to keep from drinking and going out risking an accident and getting a dui on that crazy winding road going up the hill to get back to the room .

Hotel staff is great! Very professional and courteous.

The hotel needs a little updating in technology and in look.

The Christmas decor was really nice and the end of the year concert was great as well.

The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is perfect. They have a good menu and the food had great flavor.

Only reason this isn't 5 stars is the price for parking. It's also by day not by visit ex. ...paying once for multiple day stay but you don't. You pay for everyday stayed. It's not like anyone would go "up the hill " (very curvy, steep hill) to leave their car there so they wouldn't have to pay for parking anywhere else. Parking fee is a little steep if I were to be asked......otgerwise all was goid as usual

The tower on the hill, overlooking beautiful scenery, this hotel is charming and close to anywhere you want to go. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. We will definitely book here again on our next visit.

Great location. Friendly and attentive staff to guest needs. Poor housekeeping.
- We would leave the room to return in the evening with the room/bathroom not being cleaned.
- worst thing to happen which has never happened to us is experiencing bed bugs during our stay.
- The hotel may be understaffed, guests had clothes and garbage outside their doors and not addressed by hotel staff.

Pros:
Excellent location. The views are amazing! The view from the indoor swimming pools is amazing as well.
Cons: they may be understaffed, the room was never cleaned. We left around 8 or 9 AM to return in the evening and had to call every day to have the bathroom and room cleaned.
Worst experience, we have bed bug bites.

Nearby activities: Hotel is located in the center of the town.

Rooms: Smelly and old. Too many dogs and poop in the parking lot.

I went Thanksgiving week. Great view. Double King sized beds with mini fridge. Restaurant is great and so were the staff. Be prepared to pay for parking anywhere in Gatlinburg. There are free town trolleys that pick up passengers from the hotel parking lot, but they run certain hours during the day. The only issue I had was the sound outside. We were on the 4th floor and there was a wood chipper sound that was truly annoying coming from the pool area especially at night. Hope by now the matter has been fixed.

I would like to take a moment and critique our recent stay at the Park Vista on New Year's Eve. First, check in time is 4:00 pm, we were checked in at 4:20. Not a huge deal, but for the rate of $288 plus taxes and fees, you would expect better. We were told earlier in the day we could probably check in early as well. And the person working the front desk wasn't very welcoming, I know it's alot checking people in to such a big place yes, but for the price you do expect a little more, and I am not hard to please at all. This was my first time visiting the Park Vista, and the first time in Gatlinburg for New Year's Eve, I really should have done my homework, totally my fault.
My wife and I were looking forward to a really nice night celebrating New Year's Eve in an adult setting, especially it being New Year's Eve. More to come on that. After checking in late, we reaxed some and did enjoy a nice view before heading down to the New Year's Eve buffet dinner. The buffet dinner was a really nice try Park Vista, but you missed the mark on a buffet costing $60.95 plus tax. The choices were there, but the quality was not. Really wished we would have head to the massive Gatlinburg crowd and had dinner at Chesapeakes, it is really a great place. And the bill would have been half the price, and really top quality food. Again, nice try on the dinner, but really sub par quality in my opinion. After dinner we went up to our room and relaxed a little before heading down to the New Year's Eve party. Arriving in the lobby we were met with at least 30-40 children ages 5-9 ready to party also. I just assumed New Year's Eve in Gatlinburg at one of the nicer hotels, it wouldn't be a kid and adult party. I guess parents today celebrate New Year's Eve in Gatlinburg with their little ones, and not to mention the many dogs joining the party! I love kids, I love dogs, but not necessarily for a New Year's Eve party, just my opinion. They did have an 18 and older party area that my wife and I could have gone to, but you had to pay $75 each for that. Just a suggestion Park Vista, for the adults who would like an adult only atmosphere for New Year's Eve, let them have access to the 18 and over area for no charge. Especially for the money spent on the room and buffet! Two years ago my wife and I spent New Year's Eve in New Orleans. The room at thd Wyndam was $160 a night, and dinner at one of the most upscale restaurants there was $110 for dinner and drinks.. I am suprised that Gatlinburg is that much more expensive. So, my suggetion, I would not recommend the Park Vista or Gatlinburg at all for New Year's Eve personally, and I realize it all depends on what you're looking for in a New Year's Eve party. I don't complain much at all about anything, but I wanted to give those thinking about the Park Vista and Gatlinburg for New Year's Eve. Personally avoid Gatlinburg all together during that time. If you do go to the Park Vista for New Year's Eve, eat dinner in town, I just personally am not a fan of hotel food, never had any that was really good. And attend the adult party if you are not interested in partying with 5-9 year olds and their pets. I appreciate the Park Vista for being a very family friendly hotel, I was just suprised it being New Year's Eve at one of the nicer hotels in Gatlinburg, the party for New Year's Eve wasn't geared more toward adults.

The Hotel, apart from the beautiful views it has, I don't see anything else in its favor, it is a large hotel but a little out of date, the lobby, the rooms are old, we came during Christmas, I don't know what it will be like on other dates but If you want to spend Christmas here I don't recommend it, the service is terrible!!! Me in particular first and last time I come! 5 days badly spent in this hotel!

Rooms: Old furniture, new but uncomfortable bathrooms
