Very cute tea room. We were the only people there up till the last 30 minutes of so of our dining, but our server was still so attentive and made our experience a good one. We would come back!
I visit Gatlinburg once every year. Going to the Wild Plum Tea Room is a vacation highlight. Delicious food (unique) and friendly, attentive service are always perfect. The tea room offers original artwork with the artist on site. My favorite is the tea cups, saucers and plates for sale.

The food was so good, we ate it all and forgot to take before pictures. so here are after pictures
the food here is finger lickin' good! Casey is a delight. staff are very nice! Everything is delicious here!
My friend recently tried to dine here with a service animal and was refused entry. This is not an emotional support animal, this is a certified animal. Wearing the proper vest. Staff needs sensitivity training and to know the law.

So, this happened to me for the very first time in my SERVICE DOG life! 😪
Let me tell you first, the only reason Mommy and I stayed was because our server was the sweetest young lady and Mommys friend was treating us. It truly was a shame, when she spent over $70 for a lunch for 2 to have such a negative experience. Mommy truly tried not to let it impact her, but I'm her precious boy and no one messes with me! Hee! You know you have the same exact Mom!🥰
It was our very first time dining at "The Wild Plum Tea House" in Gatlinburg and it was truly delicious, and as I said, our adorable, sweet, awesome server was amazing. However, upon our arrival we were DENIED dining in the main area and the screened area for dining. A young man approached us as we entered, without a greeting, just said, "NO DOGS ALLOWED!" I politely replied that Barry was my Service Dog and he said nope, doesn't matter, outside on the deck. The deck was not clean, ants, bees, loud from traffic and very warm. Mommy continued to share with him the law of Service Dogs and he just ignored us with a grumpy face. (swipe to see pic #3 from their which states, Service Dogs are permitted.) Totally, False!!!!!
There were several tables with customers, and they could not believe the treatment we were given. Mommy was so embarrassed and sad and not happy.😪 Soooo, if you ever think of going there with your Service Dog, don't! In fact, I will never go there, again! As you know, we live in Sevierville and have company often, and we will never take them there, either. On a different note, if you do not have a Service Dog, please go. Kasey is the Owner and Chef. The scones are to die for, chocolate flourless torte was scrumptious, the Plum tea was delicious and refreshing, Chicken salad and fruit was magnificent and make sure you get our server!
TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE: Service Dogs are allowed in restaurants under the Disabilities Act (ADA) The ADA requires that businesses allowed service animals in all areas where the public is allowed.

Loved our experience here! Yes, they only seat you if you have a reservation, but it is worth it! To make a reservation, it is best to text them and request a day that they are open. The owner only responds if there is availability, so it can be tough.
The food was delicious and most of the ingredients are homemade and/or locally sourced. The wait staff were super friendly and helpful with the menu, which was super unique. We had the pimento dip, the salmon burger, and the quiche. Everything was delicious!

What a hidden jewel! Wonderful restaurant/tea room off the beaten path. Krissy was our server and was wonderful! We started with the Sherry tomato bisque and it was outstanding. Then we had the lobster pie, delicious. They also serve Wild plum muffins with their homemade Wild plum jelly, soooo good! They only serve beer but you can bring your own bottle of wine. They are open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday so I recommend you make a reservation. You will be very happy when you dine here?

Such a cool place located in the Arts and Crafts Community!! You have to have reservations, understandably so. The waiter we had was so sweet and phenomenal. They take the time to personally craft your food and it’s a whole experience! It’s so serene and calming being there for a brunch with friends and family. Everything was delicious and unique from start to finish. It was so worth it, and we will definitely be back!!
Vegetarian options: There are varieties on the menu with and without meat
Dietary restrictions: Lots of variety on the menu!
Parking: Open gravel lot
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, but it is a house type of setting and you are close to tables, so obviously everyone would be aware if there is an upset child
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible, but the doorways might be tight getting in. There is a gravel lot on the way up, and then otherwise I’m not sure there is a lift up to the toilet on the second floor

I've tried to make reservations at this place for months and never received a response. I've called, emailed, and texted multiple times and eventually gave up.
Best place ever! Went here today with my family and loved it! The people working there are extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the tuna appetizer, the salmon burger, and of course the wild plum tea. The sweet lady who owns the place even came out and and said hi. 10/10 experience all around. A must visit!!!
