Overall, we had a great experience. We planned to go to another pub that was temporarily closed, and it ended up being a great turn of events for us.
We have 2 girls, and they enjoyed the atmosphere and room to move around. The food was fantastic and definitely made fresh. The highlight was definitely the sticky toffee pudding!! We will be back 😊

*we had fish & chips, French dip, PB&J, and doodles&knees. All of them came with chips-delicious!

Service was great. Probably a great place to hang out and have a few drinks but don’t get the fish and chips or wings. Worst I’ve ever had.

Husband had the chicken pie and said it was very good. Pastry/crust was flavorful. My fish and chips were excellent. Perfect batter on the fish, and the hand cut fries were yummy. Husband also had a black and tan beer which he enjoyed. Excellent service/staff! Reasonable prices.

This place is worth a visit. The chicken pie was made from scratch and delicious. Try to mushroom soup with steak. It is spicy and so good!

Cute place and food was pretty good, but I think we were there on a night that was short-staffed or something. There was only one guy working and it took a while to even order the food let alone get it. The guy working seemed sorta confused about things, I don’t wanna criticize too much cause it seemed he was new or filling in or something like that. Overall it was a somewhat odd and mediocre experience. Definitely have had better experiences at the Fox and Parrot, this was our first time at the Rampant Lion and while it wasn’t awful, I don’t think we will be back.

We ate here last night. The fish and chips were delicious, but the highlight was the sticky toffee pudding (outstanding). The service was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We will return!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp for accessibility.

Fantastic Irish pub just a couple of miles from Downtown that's well worth the drive. Food was great, as was the service. Surprising highlight was one of the best stocked bars I've been too, and best in the area! Irish cuisines and hundreds of options of great bottles to choose from.

It's a great hidden away pub. It's off the beaten path of the busy Gatlinburg drag. But it's not quite. LOL, it's a pub. But let's talk about the good stuff.

There are 3 doors. #1 all bar. #2 bar and food. #3 Food.

Fish-n-chips: Beer battered fish. Two large filets with a crispy outside and tender white fish inside. Crispy homemade steak fries AKA chips. A spash of malt vinegar and tartar sauce.. nomz.

Pudding: Meaning - Desert normally a soft cake or bread pudding.

Sticky Toffee Pudding: Warm sweet and delicious.

We will be back to try their other options.

Pros: Isn't downtown, outside seating, great food, fair prices, friendly owners.

Cons: It's in Gatlinburg and not closer lol, limited seating, limited parking

Parking: Parking is limited

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, so there is drinking and language. Daylight hours are probably best 👌

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp but the parking lot is gravel

Seems like a cool local place but service is extremely slow, took about 10 mins to put in a drink order and almost an hour to get our food. Their website has not been updated since before 2020 so don’t expect over half of the items on their menu to be available or their prices to be what it says online. Great for if you just want to drink as they have a huge drink menu.

In response the the owners rude and unprofessional reply-
Your establishment was less than busy. There were maybe 4 other tables and most of them already had their food when we arrived. Had you been visibly busy, I wouldn’t have even commented on how long everything took. Also we were more than fine with the prices of the food but why have a website if you are not going to keep it up to date. And blaming slow service on being “short staffed” is a pathetic excuse any more. Maybe invest in your business and you would be packed on a Saturday night in the “world’s most visited national park, in the busiest month of the year, in a town that’s absolutely jampacked”.
Dropping down to 1 star from 3.

We have frequented gatlinburg many times since I was a kid, and this was by far the best service we’ve ever received. The food was delicious! We will definitely make visiting this place apart of the gatlinburg traditions. Highly recommend đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»
