We stopped in for lunch today. Actually, this place was the reason we drove out there in the first place. The Shepherd’s Pie and the Poacher’s Roll were excellent. We shared a Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert and loved every bite. They were very friendly, and this place is the real deal. We will be back.
We visited about a month ago and instantly fell in move with this place. The decor is so nice. The staff on point. The chef spent some time chatting with us - super cool guy. The food, service and atmosphere were all so nice. Highly recommend!

Great little pub near Gatlinburg! The fish & chips, shepherd’s pie, and fried mushrooms were delicious, and the Tynt Meadow ale was perfect. Awesome atmosphere watching college football on the big screen.
Definitely recommend!

Had been wanting to try this place and finally stopped in this trip. Friendly when we arrived. A few other small parties were there. We waited, and waited and waited. Another couple went to the bar and asked for a drink to be told that he would get to them after he helped someone else. They said they had been there at least 15 minutes. Finally they were served a drink. We continued to wait- no water….nothing. After 20 minutes at least we walked.

Waited for half an hour and no one even brought us a menu. My wife and I walked in to this pub for dinner, the server said hi to us and said he would bring a menu right over. We said thank you and sat down. There were only 3 people at the bar and 1 table occupied. The rest of the restaurant was completely empty. There were at least 4 staff there. We sat there for half an hour and no one even came to our table. The server even brought food to the other occupied table, which was right next to us. He completely ignored us. Eventually, we were too hungry to wait anymore and we got up and left. The manager thanked us for coming on the way out. I told him that we had been waiting for half an hour and no one ever brought us a menu, and that we were leaving. Went home and ate whatever was in the fridge instead. I really wanted to try this place, it's a very authentic looking and feeling Irish pub, but the service was literally nonexistent.
We were excited to try this place, but we walked in the door and got sat, waited for half an hour and never even got a menu. There was only one other table there, so it wasn't busy. They seemed to take pride in slow service unfortunately.

Great selection of beer and 350 different whiskeys. British pub style menu with some great Scottish dishes. Away from the main tourist areas of Gatlinburg. Definitely recommended.

The food was amazing!!! And everyone was so friendly, it was a great environment for a quick lunch!! My husband’s favorites were the fried sheep balls and the poachers roll. My one year old basically ate all of the bangers and mash because it was so delicious. We also tried the scotch egg which was very good too!! 100% will be making this a regular stop for us when we come into town.

Excellent service and food. Friendliest owners, staff and people you can meet. Try the scotch eggs, bubble and squeak, fish and chips… try it all!!! Huge selection of bourbon, whiskey, and beer! Covy is an excellent chef!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Irish Pub Experience Ever! The Rampant Lion Irish Pub is an absolute gem! The fish and chips were hands down the best we've ever had—crispy, golden, and perfectly cooked. The Guinness shrimp was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the scotch eggs? Truly to die for. Every bite was pure comfort. And don’t even get me started on the dessert—the sticky toffee pudding was marvelous, rich, and just the right amount of indulgent. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, but what really made our visit unforgettable was the staff. Roger was so friendly and accommodating, making sure everything was just right. And the owners, Dana and Brian, are such lovely people—you can tell they pour their hearts into this place. And the cherry on top? They welcomed Scout, our pup, with open arms. That just sealed the deal for us—you all know how important he is to us. If you're in town, 100% recommend stopping by the Rampant. Great food, great people, great vibes. We’ll definitely be back!
