I mean, I have nothing to add to any of the other countless reviews, but I can say that I will dream about this place until next summer when we drive through town. We are from Texas, we are used to REALLY GOOD Mexican food all over the place and Las Tortugas was SO GOOD.
We decided to check this place out for dinner on Cinco de Mayo. A small group of us went in the evening, expecting some sort of celebration, but there wasn’t any party or event happening—just a few people casually dining in.

Had a wonderful evening last night here and our food was amazing delicious, I had 4 tacos w/brisket while my nephew had tilapia tacos. He had a melon and I had mango drinks. This place was featured on diner and dives, so cool to dine in for my third time visiting from Iowa. They have great Mexican food here and I will for sure return again.
