Had a wonderful evening last night here and our food was amazing delicious, I had 4 tacos w/brisket while my nephew had tilapia tacos. He had a melon and I had mango drinks. This place was featured on diner and dives, so cool to dine in for my third time visiting from Iowa. They have great Mexican food here and I will for sure return again.
We love Las Tortugas (Deli Mexicana)! They are the only place I've ever been that upon ordering Elote you are given the choice of whole, split in half, or in a cup. I love that they give you the option. Their Elote is amazing too! The Sandwiches come cut in half, which is another especially lovely touch. We always get the De Aguacate (Avocado) and the De Queso Fresco Oaxaca (Cheese) Sandwiches and trade halves so we both get to have some of each. Honestly they are both so...
I dont know how I missed this place. This is a definite go to for tacos and sandwiches. It was delicious and fresh. Plenty of options for everyone's taste. Best elote I have ever had. I will be back everytime I am in Memphis.
