Limelight transported me to a calming and cool oasis in the midst of the blistering summer of Memphis. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner in its sun room with a neutral natural palette that I once indulged myself at the Rose Tavern in Canandaigua in Upstate New York. Limelight offers a unique dining experience. I've never been disappointed with the taste of any of dishes I've ordered there. However, it is expensive and the portions are smaller than what you normally expect. They do add a charge for the alcohol tax, which was a surprise considering that the prices of the drinks were relatively high. Many restaurants include the tax in the price of the drink rather than adding an additional charge to the bill. I would consider Limelight...

I had a very nice meal here with a group of people from work. The food overall was good as were the cocktails. Our servers were very attentive, and they did a great job. One thing to be aware of - the portion sizes can be a little small, especially if you're used to going to the steakhouses in the area or even to comparable places like Southern Social. If you're going with a group with large appetites, I'd recommend getting a number of small plates to share...
