Wimpy's Burgers & Fries

The decor is top notch nostalgic with focus on Wimpy himself. Service was friendly....I will say the food did take a bit...BUT...its made fresh and was piping hot....wife had a single with cheese...mine a double all the way...veggies very fresh....fries are battered, crispy and tasted great....Nice find for a joint 800 miles away from home....With only 3 locations we cant consider this a chain...but Far better than any chain we have tried.

I meant to take photos, but my kids finished theirs on the way home, and my husband and I ate our burgers too fast! 😂 The sweet potato fries and onion rings were delicious. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully with photos next time!

We went to Wimpys as a mom/son lunch date and enjoyed it very much. The boys got the double burger with wimpy sauce and I got the cowboy burger that has bbq sauce. We all enjoyed our burgers and the fries were delicious. The burgers are so big I could not finish. I liked the atmosphere. It felt nostalgic and had a small town vibe. Reminded me of a burger place I used to go to as a kid. We will be back!

Wimpy's in the Germantown (Forest Hill location) is one of my go to restaurants. Every time I go there, I have a wonderful experience. I love that the food is made to order so it's always fresh and hot when I get it. I never have to wait long for my food either. The burgers are very good and the service is excellent. I highly recommend patronizing this wonderful establishment, you will not be disappointed.

Very good food with very friendly staff. They're always quick and I never have to wait more then 10 minutes. Also it's always clean!

Not bad I got a lettuce wrap burger and the lettuce was kinda saugey but my mustard was basically water

Staff was nice and Brenda was amazing! She made sure my family and I food was on point, everything was fresh and hot definitely recommend their burgers.

I thought I would take time out to write a review since it's been 5 years ago since. I come so often at least 2 to 3 times a month. My sister was in town and my mother was asked what were we going to eat. She said she wanted a great burger, I said Wimpy's and she rejoiced. This restaurant is spot on with their fresh home-cooked burger. My sister raved about the battered fries and how they were seasoned just right, joy came over my mother when Brenda brought her meal to the table and I told Sarah how my meal was made with love. The staff is awesome and treated my family like their very own family. The second shift (Jordan/ Melissa) came in, kept everything a float and consistent. Hello Cassidy. This place is a hidden gem to me. Along as they keep the fresh ingredients, fresh service/ smiles coming I could eat a double cheese wimpy a day with no problem to help me work on my winter weight.

Wimpy Burger was so good! The food came out fresh and hot, and you can tell it’s good quality. The customer service was just as good, real Memphis Southern hospitality that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Lastly, you definitely get your money’s worth with the portions and quality. I can’t remember the last time I got a burger meal of that caliber for a price under $20.
