The absolute best molcajete I have ever tasted. The wings are the best in the city!!! Fried rice is amazing just a great place!!! The only place we go now!!!

First of all, it definitely doesn’t deserve the one star in my opinion. My husband and I went in there on a Monday night and there wasn’t anyone in there but yet the service was horrible. They are rude there and they can’t speak fluent English at all. They do not serve alcohol, which is fine but some people love a good margarita with Mexican. Anyway, our food was the nastiest food I’ve ever had in my life. It stunk in there. The girl was just rude then, our food was just awful. Don’t waste your money just bc of the buffet sign like we did. It was just terrible. I actually ordered street tacos and my steak was not steak. It wasn’t. It was horrible. Don’t go! And I’m sorry if you did and you’re reading this.

Tested this place out today as we were passing by. We were told to sit where we wanted. I wish we knew ahead of time that we could order off the menu and do the buffet because I felt like it was a waste of money for my picky children to eat off the buffet. In the future we will know. I do not typically enjoy a buffet but the food stayed in rotation and I did not feel as though what I ate was dried out or old. I will definitely give this place another try but will remember that the kids are better off ordering off the menu.

My husband's coworker said, Alex's has good Mexican food and a buffet. Good Mexican food is rare to us and a buffet as well as menu to order from. We had to check it out. Yes! They have very good Mexican food. The waitress was nice and sweet and her English was fine. The food was so damn delicious I couldn't eat another bite or surely I'd waddle out. The flavor was so good. The cerveche was full of shrimp and onions, cucumber and minced jalapeño. We will definitely come back for more!

The food was cold, dry , it appeared to be from the day before . Nothing authentic. Old food overpriced .

So really go food items mole sauce, tamales, ground beef, shrimp one shrimp dish.

Alex's has a delicious buffet with many different options. They also have a regular menu to order from, however I haven't ordered off the menu yet but I'm sure it's just as good as the buffet. Some of my favorites are their chicken mole, the chicken and steak fajitas, and especially the tamales. They're some of the best I've had in a long time. I haven't had anything there that I didn't love. The employees are very nice, professional, and are on top of keeping the buffet well stock with fresh food coming out all the time. It has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants!

Terrible place, if you can avoid this place do it it’s so bad and for some reason it got good reviews but i checked & some of them are from a year ago & that restaurant hasn’t been open that long ago. I say is terrible because, first of all, i got there & the place looked a little disorganized, they gave me a and my boyfriend our table & asked what drinks we wanted we asked for lemonade and agua de jamaica, and they brought us pineapple & horchata and they were watered down. besides the buffet we also wanted to order something from the menu and they literally took good 20 minutes to take the order and the lady that was taking it wouldn’t understand what i was asking for as if we both weren’t talking fluent spanish so they’re a little incompetent, then around 40 has passed and they still hadn’t brought the food i ordered so i asked for it & it looked like they apparently had forgot because they brought it right away after i asked for it, what i ordered was aguachiles & i know it does not take 40 minutes to make & the taste of the aguachiles was horrible it didn’t had no lemon, no flavor at all it was like as if i was eating shrimp damped in water. The food from the buffet was kinda dry, just not a good flavor & almost forgot to mention it but the food is not covered & there was a fly on the food. The employees never checked on us & overall it just looks like they have no communication in between them.

Literally the nastiest Hispanic food I have ever had in my life. Please save your money, go to another business, you would be happier eating elsewhere.

I love this restaurant, since they open “the Mexican buffet” it became my favorite place. Staff are so nice and friendly and the food is some real Mexican stuff. I love them 🫶🏼

food tasted good but after my first and only visit to the place i'm in my third day with diarrhea... maybe it's just me or maybe they need to get checked by the city about cleaning

The chicken empanadas were great, but as a warning, don't get the boneless wings. They are literally chicken nuggets, and tasted very much like frozen Tyson nuggets. Considering they are absolutely not cheap and about the same price as the real bone in wings, I find this especially disingenuous and a bit ridiculous. If you're looking for decently priced Mexican food, sure! Just stick to that or the bone-in.
