Plaza Mexican Grill

I live in the area and have dined here half a dozen times or so… I think that - among the Mexican offerings in Goodlettsville - this is the best one. The food is delicious & comes out very hot and somehow it feels more authentic than some other local places. It’s the usual Baja style Mexican food: with a focus on sea food, fajitas, enchiladas, chili relellenos, tacos & grilled dinners. But somehow it’s just a cut above the other local places. The bar is far more extensive, and the place is well lit. It’s a romantic spot with cozy deep booths, and friendly folks sitting at the bar. I think the margaritas are better as well!

But the best part of all is that very often there’s a musician playing near the bar. This is my go to spot. Enjoy !

I had the street tacos, grilled chicken and steak. Both were delicious. Draft beer wasn't very cold. Atmosphere is fine. I ate at the bar during work trip. I would come back.

Has the usual Mexican food options, plus some great vegetarian (easily veganizable) options.

They have veggie chicken and beefless beef great vegan options,

Only got half my order.

The food has been great every time I've eaten here! The staff is very friendly! Good vibe!

Stopped in late on a weeknight , we were warmly welcomed in to a very nice modern warm feeling environment... service was top notch , food was amazing ... did not feel rushed at all , I would definitely recommend trying this spot 10-10 great authentic Mexican food!!!

Was seated by a hostess who didn’t say a single word to us. Ordered two $14 entrees and two margaritas that had absolutely no alcohol in them and somehow our bill came to $61 before tip. Absolutely won’t be back.

Tried them out for a carryout dinner and happy to report the food is very good! Website is clean and easy to navigate, ordering process went smoothly. Food ready to pickup in 20 minutes, which is avg for local restaurant pickup times in Goodlettsville.

Food was ready and packaged neatly, took it home and dived in. I ordered the 3 tacos meal which came with rice and beans. The rice and beans were good/avg. I do wish spanish rice was made legit, I love home cooked spanish rice.

The three tacos were excellent I must say, I had steak/chorizo/chicken combo (you can order what protein you prefer).

I eat at plaza about twice a month. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant. I try different things but my favorite is fajitas. They don't mind making them the way you want. I also like the margaritas. They will make a skinny marg that is not so sugary. My favorite server is Miguel. I always know I'll get good food and service at plaza

Always great food and friendly service in a fun atmosphere. Birria quesadilla taco or pollo con chorizo may be my favorite choices but it’s always hard to pick! Everything is so good.

I like the chicken and rice

Chips were hard, enchilada wrap was soggy, chicken was tough, tamales were good. Margarita was watered down, server even ask if I needed a shot of tequila, and snickered. Server brought two tickets he ran with my credit card. One bill was for another table, total of $104. I advised him and he voided it. He already had a bad attitude and this was the final straw. Checked with the manager upon exit, who advised it was indeed voided. The server name on both tickets was: Oscar. Beware of this mistake!
