I’m from out of town. The ladies at front desk of the hotel I am staying in recommended the place. So, I decided to give it a try.
When I walked in, there were people at the entrance so I thought I should get my name in the hat for a table. So, I went to the blonde headed young man that was acting as host (I didn’t catch his name). I said “Sign me up or whatever I need to do to get a seat”. At first I thought he didn’t hear me. So, I said “Do I need reservations?” I could tell by his body language he was annoyed. He said “Would a high top in the bar be fine?” I said “Sure”.
As he walked me to the high top, I was thinking “What did I say to offend him? It wasn’t my intention. Maybe he misunderstood me somehow. Was I too forward? Did I somehow cut in front of someone?”.
He seated me. As soon as he did, an associate that came from out of town as well, called me. (We are to do a job here this week and both just made it into town today.) After he indicated, he would like to catch dinner, I told him that I had just sit down and he should meet me.
I then realized the tabletop on the high top was too small for both of us to eat comfortably. So I, caught the young host again and explained the situation. He seemed visibly put out. He asked “ You both can’t eat here?” I explained that it felt too small for two and I would like a table if possible. He said he would have to see.
Meanwhile, a very kind young waitress came to my table and asked me about getting me a drink. I explained to her that I may be switching tables. I glanced through the window and could see the host hadn’t started trying to find me a table yet. My patience for the situation went south at that point. The waitress said she could get me a drink while I waited. I said “hold off for a minute because I may be walking out”. She gave me a puzzled look. I said “It’s nothing you have done, it’s him” as I pointed to the culprit.
I waited a couple of minutes to be sure he wasn’t intending on acting. I walked out. Called my associate. We went down the way to Texas Roadhouse to eat.

My wife and myself are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary today, and due to health concerns, we weren't able to go out to a nice restaurant, so we ordered takeout from Aubrey's in Greeneville. When I got home with our food, I discovered that they had included dessert at no charge, and had written Happy 50th Anniversary with a heart on the takeout box. This was a great example of top notch customer service, and a reminder of why we always love eating at Aubreys. A special shout-out to Summer and Tammy for being so kind. Also, the food was great as always, especially the cheesecake!

The Ragin Cajun is genuinely the juiciest chicken I've ever had, but it's s not that spicy for my taste. For the side the French fries are DELICIOUS when dipped in the ranch. Seriously this place has da best ranch.

Beautiful restaurant. I like the outdoor seating and the bar eating area is closed off from the rest of the restaurant. Get a few in a couple dudes and it gets loud. Luckily we were done when the debates started..😆 Great Food and amazing service! Didn't give 5 on food since 1/3 of my ribeye was inedible fat. Wife had the Filet. It was perfect.

Aubrey’s has some of the best food that I have ever ate. It is a very nice place to eat ❤️

Although salads are generally good, the grilled chicken I order with my salads has lately been very tough and chewy. Other menu items are average at best. We go there primarily because good restaurants in Greeneville are non-existent. However, the staff are great and we do like the atmosphere in the bar area and outside in warm weather. Aubrey’s never changes their menu or offers specials. It’s like a chain restaurant.
