We usually go to another local Mexican restaurant but the quality of the food and the service has gone downhill. We tried El Azteca for the first time last night and everything was delicious and extremely affordable. The service was quick and very friendly. Looks like this will be our go to for Mexican food from now on. I had the Seafood Fajita and it was fantastic. I will definitely have it again.

Sat at bar. We like to talk with the bartender, have a drink, grab a bite... The food is SO, SO GOOD. Best we have had since coming here 3 yrs ago - seriously.This little place is nicely decorated, clean, comfortable. We just couldn't chat up the Barkeep as he was busy on the floor (and also, he did not seem interested in conversation...).We will definitely be back often, I am sure. Wish they would open up a place closer to Jonesborough!!!

Well this is a refreshing addition to the food scene in Greeneville. There are other Mexican restaurants in Greeneville, but the menu offerings read the same. This place offers a new spin on many of the usuals. The peach margarita was delicious. The chicken taco salad had an amazing gravy/sauce on the bottom of a crispy fried shell.
