I've been looking for a "neighborhood" Italian restaurant for a while now, and I think I've found it. This was our first visit to Crazy Italians, and it was delish. We each had a salad and a pasta dish. She had 102 and I had 109, and yes you should order by number. Mine was good, hers was better. We also learned that the portions are plenty big, so next time we will each get a salad and split and entree. Bottom line, we will be returning.

This laid back Italian diner is in Cordova, directly next to Party City (your map will not bring you here, but trust me: it's there!). The vibe is very basic and generic but the food is not! Step 1: Grab a menu and photo book Step 2: Grab a seat Step 3: Once you know what you want, order at the counter (others were ordering by the number on the menu; as a rookie, I missed this!) Step 4: Fill your drink and wait at your table; the server will bring your meal to you. Is it authentic? I dunno. I've never been to Italy. But it is delicious. No bread though, and a girl loves her carb on carb actions I got the spaghetti alla puttanesca, and I brought lasagna home for the hubby. Both were delicious. The (-): Pepsi products (a personal preference, I know) No alcohol (there is a BYOB policy with no cork fee and the restaurant has both a corkscrew and glasses!) The (+): Delicious food at a great price point. If you're looking for a full service restaurant or romantic ambiance, this isn't the spot for you. But it is chill, inexpensive, convenient and delicious!

Honestly I'm shocked at the low reviews. This place was GREAT! They had wonderful customer service and the food was delicious. We went during lunch which included a salad and bread. The penne pesto was prefect. I find America(ized) pesto is heavy and oily. This was light with bold flavors. My friends raved about the lasagna! They said it was filling without the lethargic feeling. We are glad that we decided to make this stop. If you live in the area I encourage you to go.

Authentic Italian pasta, the pesto tastes just as fresh and homemade as my Italian neighbor's! And the pasta does not taste like the hard packaged stuff from the store, it tastes like freshly made pasta! So good

This is hands down the BEST Italian Food in Memphis. It's authentic, real Italian. I read some reviews before going and it sounded like some didn't have a great experience, but that couldn't be further from my family's experience. We had a party of 7 which they accommodated easily. You order up front and then your food is brought out to you. They even have a picture booklet on the table so you can see what each dish looks like. Each and every dish we had was amazing. My boyfriend and I will definitely be frequenting and I'm excited to try all that they have to offer. You've gotta try their food!
